Update to 1.50?

pls update add engine brake

Hi there, love this mod, but its causing my game to crash with 1.49

As others wrote below, it would be nice if added "lifted axle" icon and "engine brake" icon on the dashboard. And mostly, I'd love to see a compatibility for Jasper's DAF as well. Thank you so much for your effort mate.

kriechbaums sound mods no longer work correctly with the 1.49 patch. Also if you use kriechbaums mods aswell as this, it will not only turn off alert, but it turns off all interior sounds. He needs to update it

FoLey, and? The modification does not affect the graphics, geometry of the truck, or objects in the cabin. Look for the problem in other mods.

Just wondering about the complaint below about the sound of blind spot warning.
Because I have no sound but only the indicator showing approaching traffic.

Is there something I have to activate in options or did you disable sound completely?

Would it be possible to add an icon for the engine brake?
You never know if it's on or off.

Blind spot Radar displays showing wrong side when using a UK cab set up, is it a bug? Overall the mod is great and very helpful.

After checking the DAF code lines files, I found hidden settings in the truck sound registration. I didn’t get the error sound because I used the sound mod from kriechbaum. I will leave a link to his mod in the description in the Recommended mod section.
Using my and his mods you can enjoy DAF 2021.

I also did some testing and found the sound to be under the interior sound volume category

Same problem here, I also noticed it with turning the wheel in the direction of the blind spot warning. Started a new profile without any other mods https://youtu.be/mKpEmwpDVAs
It doesn't seem like it's on our side, which is strange. Hope this helps

epinephrin, just checked with this mod - absolutely no sound messages when triggering a blind zone.
The problem is on your side.
If possible, make a video with a list of modifications and gameplay with a sound problem, upload it to YouTube and share the link - I really want to see this, since there is not a single line in the mod regarding changing the sound or the operation of the sound engine.

I only use the "Real Traffic Density ETS2" mod, no other mods.

What mods are used?

I have the same issue than Pikachubacca, when the blind stop indicator is active and there is something next to the truck and I activate the indicator a warning sound is ringing (sounds like the the sound from the emergency stop assistant). It´s really annoying when I am waiting at a narrow crossroad to turn left or right. Otherwise it would be a perfect addition to the DAF!

I get an audible warning when there is something in my blind spot and I'm indicating the same direction. Does not happen when I disable the mod.

Pikachubacca, modification does not affect the sound of the truck.

Alarms sound when fence is on my right and i indicate right. Doesnt work correctly and is annoying - no ability to turn off sound
