I was wondering, if you have both this mod and VRE Pigskins installed, does drinking their blood count as human or animal? Wanna create a custom scenario where people are literally cattle, but presumably they bleed human blood? Would be cool if it actually counted as animal, like their flesh.

Hello ! I am trying to run draincasket but none of my colonists (or lifters) refill the nutrition except if I manually order a colonist to do it. Am I the only one having this issue ? I have no issue with biosculpter pods, aren't they using the same refill job ?
Thanks for the mods :)

Sanguophage hemogen is a pure buff, we don't want players to have it 24/7
Vermineer Guttertail 15 NOV a las 13:47
May I ask why this is intentional? Is it a vanilla thing or this mod? What exactly controls if a pawn is able to be farmed for hemogen? Cus I might patch or make something that lets me do this. Just for quaility of life stuff
Sarg Bjornson  [autor] 14 NOV a las 23:10
That's intended
Vermineer Guttertail 14 NOV a las 20:23
One thing that bugs me is that for some reason I cannot set a hemogenic prisoner to be blood farmed. It would be nice since I wish to run my vampire colony on sangophage hemogen
Scrumumlux 13 NOV a las 12:10
Small but annoying bug but when you throw someone in a draincasket after imprisoning them, theyre still tied to their bed. Be nice if there was an option to autoclear assigned beds after casketing a pawn
Oskar Potocki  [autor] 8 NOV a las 12:31
The issue should be fixed as long as you have the latest version of the mod.
Dovacat 8 NOV a las 11:45
looks like whenever a hemogen tap is connected to the network it will instantly drain all nutrition from drain caskets, not sure why as debug log shows no issues
Tox 6 NOV a las 20:16
Immediately figured it out once i came all the way here to get help haha
Tox 6 NOV a las 20:15
Can't for the life of me figure out how to put a prisoner into a draincasket!
G4bkun 4 NOV a las 9:49
Thanks for the fix! love your work and your mods
Helioskers 2 NOV a las 17:54
^^^ constructing new drain caskets from the building menu and not copying from the previous broken drain casket ended up working for me too! Ig they count as two separate item instances? Thank you for the fix!
MingusDew 2 NOV a las 15:23
I took my pawn out and put them back in, seems to be keeping them alive now.
Terrible 2 NOV a las 12:14
dont worry it seem like by replacing my drain casket, my hemogen vat and my blood tap i was able to fix it
MingusDew 2 NOV a las 11:47
Before, the draincasket would just use up nutrient paste from the vats without increasing nutrition level of the casket. Now it seems it is using the paste and increasing the nutrition, so it will max out to 5/5, go down for a bit and then refill, which is better than just staying at 0 and continually using all the paste till it’s gone. However, the pawn in the casket does not appear to be getting fed, Food will still go to 0%, malnutrition still present.
Sarg Bjornson  [autor] 2 NOV a las 11:32
That just means either this or the Framework didn't update for you
Terrible 2 NOV a las 10:58
strange... i am still suffering from the bug, it seems when its connected to a hemogen network it just empty up instantly for no reasons....
Sarg Bjornson  [autor] 2 NOV a las 9:19
Yeah!
Wintermist 2 NOV a las 8:36
Oh, I guess what was downloaded when I quit the game was the fix to the problem I came to ask about xD Draincasket works again, thanks!
Sarg Bjornson  [autor] 2 NOV a las 8:01
Nope
Leutian Kane 2 NOV a las 8:00
how about you quit giving me attitude because i have a valid point?
Sarg Bjornson  [autor] 2 NOV a las 7:57
How about you look for a different place to be your soapbox? I don't care about your opinion. We add the changelogs when we can. We don't owe you anything
Leutian Kane 2 NOV a las 7:56
@Sarg Bjornson how about you quit censoring me because i have a valid point.
Sarg Bjornson  [autor] 2 NOV a las 7:51
@Leutian Kane: Enough

Sarg Bjornson  [autor] 1 NOV a las 10:57
Fix is done and will be uploaded as soon as possible, it's Halloween :D
Sarg Bjornson  [autor] 1 NOV a las 9:08
We are aware of the issue, no need to post it more
If this is a problem of VEF itself, everyone can leave a message in the Vanilla Expanded Framework mod, hoping that the development team can fix this bug as soon as possible.
GNO-SYS 1 NOV a las 6:36
It's a bug in the latest version of Vanilla Expanded Framework itself and how it handles pipe networks. I rolled back VEF to the last version by downloading a snapshot from their Git repository, placing it in my mod folder, and unsubscribing from the current version, and the issue with draincaskets went away.
SonicPaladin 1 NOV a las 2:47
I am also having the drain casket bug, I always had my pawns refill them manually. I noticed my prisoners that were in the casket for YEARS were all dead. Found out the draincaskets just don't stay full. whether they have an occupant or not.
Xx_redcat_xX 1 NOV a las 2:16
my pawns keep filling the draincasket even after it conntect to the paste storage.

its a bug or na?
no profile 1 NOV a las 0:44
Thank you. Dear author. I forgot that I had turned off Steam notifications, so I was late in noticing.
Similarly, the drain casket is acting up; if I connect a paste device with a pipe, the nutrients drop to 0 in 1 second and paste is consumed infinitely. This didn't happen yesterday, so maybe the framework wasn't updated properly.
Sexylolz 31 OCT a las 20:42
Hi, love the mod, +1 for the draincasket bug, it's only with those connected to a nutrient paste network, I have one in my gravship who is not connected and work with manual reload
I also figured out all the pipe are disconnected and the game seems to ignore them, when I want to deconstruct, I have to do it one by one with a pawn I tell him to do
Edit : I think it's since the recent update of the framework
Shizu 31 OCT a las 20:11
I'm also having this nutrition issue. Even with no one in the draincasket the nutrition drops to 0 then rapidly depletes any connected nutrient paste storage, hauling nutrition to it is instantly consumed. As stated this occurs with or without a pawn in the draincasket
GNO-SYS 31 OCT a las 19:14
I second this. I'm having a bug with draincaskets where their nutrition keeps dropping to zero when they're connected to networks. Pawns will try manually filling their nutrition but it will just drop right back to zero.
Gytimaru 31 OCT a las 18:17
hello, love the mod, whenever I have a drain casket connected to either a hemogen vat or a nutrient paste vat, it drains the nutrition to 0 even in god mod when I keep hitting "fill to max" when there's nobody or someone in the drain casket
Sarg Bjornson  [autor] 29 OCT a las 5:03
Since 1.6, it will depend on the nutrition consumption rate of the occupants
no profile 29 OCT a las 4:58
Even with the default settings for the Draincasket, the amount of hemogen produced per day varies from 1.5 to 2.5 for each casket. Is there a stat related to the pawn placed inside?
Automa Tom 27 OCT a las 20:57
Hey, don't know if this is a place to ask this, but. I've loved this mod and was wondering if theres any other mod that adds more deathrest buildings
Tiny4741 24 OCT a las 10:25
Perfect. Thanks.
Sarg Bjornson  [autor] 24 OCT a las 10:00
They behave the same
Tiny4741 24 OCT a las 9:41
What happens if you put a bloodfeeder into a draincasket. Do you have to feed them hemogen as well as food? Or do they behave like other pawns; Just gotta feed them to keep them producing blood.
