is there a natural disaster where your president/authoritarian leader steals half of your balance?

Looks like a fantasy constantinople/istanbul, great job!

@teddyradko omg yes it works for me! I also found Theme Mixer 2 mod. It's interesting.
Thank you for the answer and for your maps. I'm going to try Glumslöv too, it looks exciting

@dbirukovich! absolutely you can switch the default environment using "enviornment changer" mod but theme will also change and it might look different. If you only want to have the "international" (non euro) building style you can much simpler enable that in the content manager under "styles" and then setup districts ingame. hope these tricks may help you!

Hi I played with your scenario with this map, it's really cool and fresh. I'm tired of default maps haha. Anyway is it possible to make this map temperate or boreal? I really don't like the european environment in Cities Skylines I'm sorry. I would love to start a new city here!
But thank you. I struggled with getting bored with this game, but after your map, I'm playing it again. :steamhappy:

Works well with Modern Africa Collection and District Style!

It's not near the map edges, it's the trees in the starting tile, and it's not any specific tree, it's all of them.

@katyusha if its happening near the map edges ive seen it too on this and a few other maps, no idea what causes it. Not close to the tree limit. Could be a problem with too many high quality tree like mr m's live oaks? Let me know if you figure it out
Katyusha 4 Apr, 2023 @ 6:48pm
I'm having issues with trees flickering and disappearing. This doesn't seem to be happening on any other map.

Thanks, that's helpfull.

i havent really tried any other luts or themes, its completely made to work without any graphics altering mods hehe, tree brush for the mangrove is live oak+ yew (same as namitsu-jima) savannas is a mix of wild hedge, tall grass, live oaks, umbrella thorn and a few baobabs. also lala palms, coconut palms, and date palms are dotted around the map.

I respect your work to make the map look good without mods and it looks lovely. Could you still recommend a theme and a lut, maybe you have already experimented with them?

Would you care giving a tree brush?

Last but not least: Thanks for gifting us your work.

Haha. When I see the map and where the starting tile is (and the recommended 9 tiles), then I suddenly completely understand how the city was developed in the scenario and why it is the way it is: Why the tip of the peninsula is crammed with so many different uses, none of which can function properly. Why dirty land use takes place in the middle of neighbourhoods and on the best building sites. Why the mangroves are dead and why so many great beach districts are standing in the middle of poo water. Why the airport is in the middle of the city when there is so much open, flat space next door. And why there is no road shortcut through the mangroves next to the railway line avoiding all the citys interchanges and beeing shorter (national road would be plenty)

It is a very pretty map. But it is not easy I think.

Thanks for the map! I saw Biffa play your scenarios and was intrigued by the map and wanted just the map not the scenarios.
