First of all thanks and on the subject of that fine dark skinned gentleman in a dark blue shirt (i hope we are thinking on the same man) he is in fact in many of my mission. Not all but many 2035 missions have him hidden somewhere so you may see him few more times in the future. :>
I have only recently started playing around with scenarios on arma. Up until now it was a game i'd jump in with friends, and it peaked my interest on jets among other stuff.
Your scenarios are genuinely fantastic! Played a few of them, and they have a fantastic style. Despite not expecting humor, the memes are great too.
The only reason I'm commenting on this mission specifically is because I've seen the man. I found him.
That's what made me comment, the attention to detail is great. I thought it was just a funny but I was in awe when I saw he was real.
so many words to say; great mission(s).
This mission was released on workshop almost 1 year ago and you are first person ever to mention anything even remotely resembling your problems and did run it with mods.
Because of that I can with some level of certainty tell you that it's most probable that it's something on your side.
this is the mod I was thinking about:
https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=410206202
I've never used it personally but from what I understand it is what You are looking for.
You could propably put that mission in to your profile by moving some files and then in editor add to it whatever you want. You would then have to also add any new jet to my respawn system to have it respawn and etc.
Please if you want to do that quick google search should do the trick. I think there are also mods that allow you spawn things during missions so maybe that can help you. Again, Google is your best friend in that case. :>
is that helpful?
https://community.bistudio.com/wiki/Mission_Parameters
You can see there on the screenshots where to find those in lobby.
If You want to reduce their numbers please look into mission parametrs in the lobby you can then adjust how many swarms there will be for how long they spawn and how many of them are in a single swarm. :>
It takes two tickets as it should (1 for your death one for destruction of the aircraft). You can turn that off in mission parametrs before start so that only player's death draws tickets. :>
As I said earlier that is because you can eject from the aircraft and return to base via support. That way only the jet is lost. :>
I hope You know you can in fact jump from your plane when You get in to sticky situation and them return to base via support and get a new jet.
As a fun fact:
Those UCAVs are actually not even using their full potential. xD
Even when You select Gryphon as your jet they still have artificially limited speed a bit.
I just replayed it my self to check and completed the mission with no issues. I'm not saying they don't exist but it doesn't occur to me and it is generally related to memory allocation witch isn't something I can really influes.
Best I can suggests is to try steam's file veryfication.
Sorry. :<
I will not confirm nor deny any Ace Combat or Project Wingman influence on my missions. xD
I was a bit afraid that the difficulty might be too great so it's good to see someone liked it. :>
