What does expensive mean on the mutant?

I think they poorly explaining that it would be nice to have compendium tab, like how librarian gets tab for key pages.

I mean, you only posted two relics previews above for Loud and Well-Rounded.
I want to see all of the other relics, to see what my favorites are before I start up.
