-Removed two streetwar soundscapes that previously escaped me
-Updated the sun angle
-Fixed a few nodraw issues
-Fixed a few issues regarding the skybox on-top of making it more consistent with the coming map
-Cleaned a lot of the blood up in the sewers though there are still some (they are dangerous after all)
-Made the canal more traversable by adding the other path on the other side with new interiors
-Added in some more lights that are turned off. Helps add some extra details
-Fixed a hanging sign that was broken
-Updated the hill, very large intersection, and one of the overlooks to be a bit more visually interesting
-Added a few bollards here and there to make the streets look a bit more interesting
-Added in some chimney smoke here and there to make the map feel more interesting and alive
-Removed a bunch of duplicate/conflicting brushes/props/sprites
-Added an extra metrocop spawn up on the balcony of the hostel
(Sorry for being a little picky, but considering the theme of the map, it does not fit).
@844box You are correct it seems. That will be addressed in a coming update
@mrflimfan I will keep that suggestion in mind :)
because of city 17 being fairly close to the citadel, it would probably look like the episode 1 ruins with the portal storm above the city, but because of it being a portal it would obviously being taking things into it so an apartment interior but ruined and missing a roof due to the portal storm. and just to make a feeling of loneliness, some sort of ambiance (e.g. the portal soundtrack "procedural jigglebone") would be a nice touch.
but that's just a suggestion
