Mod was renamed to "Valks Tweaks" and as a result a new mod was added to the workshop which you can find here https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3024389024

I renamed it to "Valks Tweaks" because I have bigger plans for this mod now.

Please note that the "Faster Weapons" mod will no longer be maintained but all the features from this mod are in "Valks Tweaks".

Fixed issue where placed coins, natural falling stars, falling tiles, player grappling hooks would duplicate if additional projectiles setting was set to higher than 0.

Everything seems to be working perfectly, moved a couple of sliders and it still worked.
AllProjectilesIgnoreCollision was kept off and still is.

Please update to 3.0.14.

- "Use Animation Multiplier" has been removed entirely as it was causing lots of problems and not really doing anything that use speed multiplier was doing already
- More config speed options have been added for all weapon types
- The config colors have been changed to be nicer on the eyes

Please make sure you do not have "AllProjectilesIgnoreCollision" enabled in config. If the issue still persists please reset all config options to their defaults and tell me exactly what you change and the specific weapon(s) you are testing with.

Updated, the problem was fixed for the whip and the mirror, thanks.

I tested further and seems like every melee item that "swings" or "stabs" has the "no collision" problem too (weapons and tools), altough if they have some kind of effect (like the Terragrim or the Night's Edge) it still show up.
If it's something that stays out (like boomerangs, chainsaws, maces [the ball on a chain], yo-yos) then it works as intended.

Since I'm already here, would it be possible to have a separate "Use speed multiplier" for magic weapons? MP gets drained extremely fast with the multiple activations.

Whenever I use a whip there doesn't seem to be any collision with enemies or things like grass or jars.
Mirrors don't work most of the time, it gets pulled out less than a second and goes back to nothing, sometimes it works, most of the time the character doesn't get transported back to home/spawn.

Also the animation speed slider doesn't work, it's always extremely fast.

Would be cool if someone made a video showcasing the "Additional Projectile" and "Item Scale" config options of this mod. I'm too lazy to do it right now but if your video is good I will link it to the mods front page here. :steamthumbsup:

I just discovered that "Use Speed Multiplier" has nothing to do with weapon firerate but rather just modifies the weapon animation art speed. So the only way to modify firerates is to modify "Use Time Multiplier". The value ranges from the smallest float value to 1. So it's hard to represent this as a integer value.

I have an idea. I will make a checkmark to toggle maximum speed and then I will reduce the other speed slider option from 1 - 1000 to 1 - 5.

At the moment no but later on I plan on making it so you can shoot x projectiles side by side. So for example the Clentaminator will shoot say 50 additional projectiles on its left and right.

Try separating damage types and check new syntax - it may be the issue
