there were a few more taunts for nero back when this addon wasnt revamped by justresort, but im sure resort's still working on making this more accurate to actual dmc5

The Buster move is not available yet, but I'm thinking of binding that to Ctrl (no running) once I either get or hand-animate Overture opening up. As for Nero's provoke anims, I disabled the other anims a long time ago to test the intro animation. That should be a quick thing to fix along with Dante's taunt-after-kill code.

I'm excited to see the new nextbots! I was doing some tinkering and noticed Nero's Buster animation. Is there a way to actually use this yet or is it still yet to come? Also is only one of Nero's Provoke animations currently usable? Thank you for all your hard work :zaggrin:

Progress should start resuming in about a week (when I get to put two other nextbots in the spotlight). It's going to be important that I finish them first since their mechanics will help with creating things like Nero's grapple system and tuning the teleportation code.

I feel like the main issue is actually the staggering system since it leaves the bosses very open when you land a hit at the right time. Max difficulty should at least make Vergil (and eventually the others) recover faster.

they feel a lil too easy since they can now only absorb 75% damage instead of the 90% that they used to i recall them being a genuine threat to me now they aint even that tough

Dante's SDT is not implemented yet. When it does get made, you just need to press F when the gauge is full.

The new bars are for Sin Devil Trigger. Also, Dante and Nero both will be getting their Devil Triggers finished (the current build is just the foundation for it).

I don't think so (and I'm pretty sure Roach won't be either).

If you're looking for some enemies to fight with the hunters though, I found Roach's Genshin Impact nextbots to be a good stand-in (since they're designed for melee fighters).

I see. I could make (or port and fix) the airborne JC animation and set it to ignore gravity to fix that.

Like i said, after first JC in the air you just go down and continue doing it on the ground. With the last update JC perform speed was set a little slow than it has been before the new update. So i think you just need speed up JC in the air or do something else.

Looks like that's a bug. Like what happened with damage absorption, apparently the game registers anything below one as a zero. I could throw in your change as the default to work around it.

Mid-air judgement cuts should be able to go up to four times if you hold M1 after the first JC.

Vergil could perform JC in air, but only one JC at moment, another JC's will be on foot. What about HP multiplier, if you set less than 1 (0.9 for example) you will gain 0 hp regen.

Vergil can do JC in the air if you hold S and press M1 (it's built like that since you can't run while airborne).

For the health regen situation, you could change the healing amount in the configuration settings (DrGBase/Devil May Cry 5) under the "Healing Multiplier" setting. The difficulty in gaining DT or SDT is built the way it is because that's how it works in the actual game. Nero and Dante heal from standard DT, and Vergil heals from SDT.

As for the broken taunts, I'm still aware of that problem, and I'll get to that when I regain the drive to. I've got a few other projects to tend to before I can start even considering getting back to this.

Some attacks also should be revamped, like Dante's basic combo (second attack throw the enemy away). Besides, i think DT HP regen must be around 200-250, because DT Energy can be charged too easy (not for Vergil tho :yun:) and players can easily return 10k+ health (mostly because low damage from weapons).
p.s. Dante have broken taunts and Vergil can't perform JC in air.

That should be an easy fix. I just need to get around to updating the combat code to prevent attack animations from being interrupted by the auto-block animation.

They stagger waaaay too easily, a mere combine soldier with a ar2 can throw them around and get them stuck dodging, imo it'd make more sense for them to just tank the shots.

Looks like that's the old teleporting shutdown issue. DrGBase is having issues keeping track of where to warp Dante, which causes him to break. I'll get to that once I've got enough resources to fully remaster Dante.

It could be that you didn't get the requirements,
or there's mod conflict and you might have to uninstall or disable mods to find out which one is causing it.

I can't see any of my npc's, they can still fight and kill other npc's but they're completely invisible. Please help this has been happening for weeks!!!!!!!:steamsad:

@GabrieloBt | That's actually just the base code of the old Dante. I haven't refined that feature just yet, but I'll probably patch that in the next update.

Good update, but I think it would be nice to keep the "control" feature that can interrupt other animations, like Dante's running attack.
