I keep on finding him in the Great Desert, getting my shit rocked, and then watching as the city guards run from the gate just to beat him up and have him enslaved. And then I see him walking around in chains. Love this dude.

Based mod, love to get my shit kicked in by this absolute megachad.

I met him on the border to the Fogt islands, duelled him and got my ass kicked, then he proceed to walk in to the fog and gas and died few meteres away from my beaten body. Any way to get him back? Or do I need to import? Thanks for the great mod

He's awesome, but he spawns maybe a little too much. I run into him at least once every ten minutes, and it's not uncommon to see two instances of him at the same time.

I also made a companion patch inspired by this mod directly, Drifters are Real . Just a small change to force the Drifters relationship tab to always be enabled even if you're using other big mods like UWE.

Is there supposed to be more than one of them? It may be a conflict with the mods i have, but i keep seeing different rivals with different names and they act like they've never seen me before.

I haven't worked on this mod in a long time. I may revisit it soon but I haven't been playing the game as much as I used to.

And, by the way, does it mean that in order to hire him you have to beat him at least 75 times (to have +75% relations)? I don't get it.

Such a great concept! Haven't tried the mod yet, but I think that it would be great to see similar characters from different factions or of different races in various equipment. Maybe a shek warrior with his giant axe or a skeleton with foreign sabre, falling sun or topper.

Thanks. Will keep in mind. I wasn't aware Drifters was set to not real. Hmm.

I found out you would change the "Drifters" faction item in FCS from "is real faction = FALSE" to "TRUE". It wouldn't pop up when I tried opening this mod in FCS, so I changed it myself with a separate one. If you are still playing Kenshi/modding a little, it would be a quick edit/update if interested

How do you make the Drifter faction visible in the Faction menu? I get a notification that I am now allies with them, but they don't appear within the actual menu.

unfortunately had to unsubscribe for balancing reasons. Its too easy to farm rivals for masterwork hiver chainmail.

I could. It's not a bad idea, seeing how people have responded to it. Maybe some wandering faction members that don't have much presence in the world. I have some ideas already.

On another note, I did encounter him myself recently in Heng. (I took a break from playing for a few months) Dude is really powerful.

i like the concept of a wandering rival. maybe we should have more then 1? maybe add a patch for nwmd. and maybe fox clan weapons.

I think there may be a glitch relating to him becoming a slave. After he was made a slave and was being forced away from my unconscious characters he kept saying "Keep running coward! (-1 Relations)" and i kept losing relations despite none of my characters running away.

Damn this mod is great. Encountered him outside of Bark with some low level characters and they got their asses kicked, he then proceeded to walk off into the sunset, but before he got out of render distance he was targeted by a group of slavers, it was a great and bloody battle the slavers were getting wrecked, a few of the slavers were down when suddenly over a sand dune came a massive group of manhunters and they joined the battle, at this point the rival had a broken arm and major damage to his chest and head, he kept fighting for a while before finally dropping to crossbow fire, then he got captured and shackled by the slavers. In total he took down around 13 of the slavers and manhunters and injured many more.

Met him up north near the cannibals. We fought in the rain, and I took his left arm off. While he was unconscious, I healed him back up, and left some food for him. Until we meet again.

Encountered him on the bridge of Black Desert City. Started fighting. Skeletons ripped off his arm because he accidentally hit the patrols. I guess I shall nurse him back to health to the best of my ability. Poor brave warrior.

Encountered him in a desert and promptly accepted his duel, got my arm chopped off and left for dead, bleed out shortly after. my face when I ran into Jetstream Sam

Yep, this is something Ive wanted for a while. 100% copping it.

The idea of someone to challenge you in the midst of nowhere as well as protecting you when you are weak, it invokes a feeling of rivalry alright. The concept itself is one of my favorite so far.
