Could you add a config to enable/disable certain effects of eternity mode? It will help increase mod compatibility. Eg being able to disable the drowning in space and reduced damage in water would no longer hinder boss fights in space and underwater in other mods.

Does anyone know how to enable eternity mode on a server. Im on a apex hosting server and everytime I use mutants gift it does not activate. Ive went into single player with all the same mods to see if it was conflicting with the mods but it worked just fine. Was wandering if anyone new how to enable it on a server properly.

@Xavier use mutant's gift from the mutant statue. If you're in a master world you will enable master + eternity. If you're in a master world and have ever previously defeated the final boss of the mod in any world, it will enable masochist mode.

If you're playing the mod for the first time and really want to do maso, there's a debug item you can cheat in. It's either called forgotten gift or forgor gift. It says something like "left click: toggle session ability to play maso, right click: toggle world". Use the world flag toggle one to let your world play maso as if you have beaten the final boss before.

I don't like the calamity crossmod support, Specifically for the terminus. The terminus usually summons the boss rush, but your forgot that one specific calamity addon, Wrath Of The Gods, changes the functionality of the terminus. The terminus takes you to a subworld where you fight Nameless Deity, a Superboss. And Mutant is much harder than ND, so i don't understand why.

Note: is calamity crossmod support from this mod or fargos mutant mod? Correct me if im wrong.

It`s a very abused mod for some people.There is no doubt that the mod is very balanced mod with these bosses.But the pendulum will swing.It`s to balanced too play it.Be mentally prepared before you download the mod

@diamonje If you don't want the feature disable it in the soul toggles panel (wrench next to inventory) like any other effect you dislike. It will permanently disable. You do not need to toggle the item's state with right click every time.
It won't be removed from the item because some people want the sniper scope functionality.

Remove the zoom bs from the bionomic cluster. Can't interact with any NPCs or anything because it shifts the screen every time. No I don't want to have to unequip it AND/or disable it every fucking time I want to right click something. No one needs it anyways. We already have zoom buttons on the keyboard +/- next to backspace that go more than far enough out without interfering with right click.

Can you PLEASE add a way to disable lightning during rain, either in game or through the config. It's so annoying to be chilling afk and come back to every single one of my NPCs butchered because I didn't wanna make a bomb shelter of a base for everyone.

Not sure if this was ever answered, but I'm playing fargos+calamity with a couple of friends and the Abomination seems to aggro only on one person. When that same person dies, the boss despawns. Anyone got an idea why this is happening?

Press the wrench icon to the right of your inventory. There's a whole list of effects you have equipped and can disable each one separately...

Do the champions work in multiplayer? over a year ago they wouldnt spawn with the summon item if it was in multiplayer

Currently running through eternity mode with a friend with the souls dlc and calamity installed, got to the abomination fight and as soon as one of us dies he immediately teleports away and despawns. Is there a mod out there to help fix this or is this some kind of conflict caused by calamity?

You should not need to downpatch TML. The July TML update shouldn't have broken this mod so you're good to go if you're on Stable TML.

Played it with a friend and a small amount myself, the boss changes are pretty interesting and engaging. The balance changes in Eternity however feel absolutely aimless. Bad weapons being nerfed even further into the ground? Whips losing their benefits from melee speed and whipstacking (really fun feature that I like a lot) effectively being removed for no good reason? To me these balance changes demonstrate a blatant lack of understanding and experience on the part of the developers. Additionally I'm not a fan of the extremely scarce amount of original concepts for items in the mod, but the ones that are there are fine. The bosses' visual makeovers are pretty sweet though, they give off a kirby true arena type vibe. All in all if the balance issues were fixed I could see this mod being pretty baller but as it is I can not in good faith retain the interest to complete it.

The mod is very projectile heavy and WILL break your computer if its not a good one. It has a lot of projectiles and you don't know whats where, who's who and others.
-Coming from someone who has tried Eternity mode and failed... a lot on mutant.
if your going to play, please don't play eternity first.
