Starfield 15 Apr, 2023 @ 6:39pm

Twilight 1 Mar, 2023 @ 2:15am
Yep, one of the essential mods imho
kezza596 11 Dec, 2022 @ 8:59am
Fingers crossed this gets updated soon. One of the major ones I'm waiting for before I get back to playing, 300+ mods makes this essential!
Spode_Mode 27 Nov, 2022 @ 5:08pm

is this worth using along side Rimpy?
bearhiderug 2 Jun, 2022 @ 3:05pm
is this working again??!
Mlie  [author] 1 Jun, 2022 @ 11:49am
@Rex705 Should be added now
Rex705 31 May, 2022 @ 4:21pm
@Mlie can you update with a nice color wheel for mod color coding? That's the only feature missing to make this mod true perfection.
Phoenix-D 13 May, 2022 @ 8:43pm
Rimpy does modify mods if you use specific functionality- the Strip Mods button for example. That one straight up deletes files from inside your mod folders. It's intended to reducing loading time but IME it's not worth the risk of it hitting files the game needs. A few others do the same. I haven't experienced any "surprises" but I don't like the newer versions and the old one I have just straight up doesn't work anymore, which is weird.
Mlie  [author] 12 May, 2022 @ 2:23am
@Pych Personal preference I assume. The closed source of RimPy might speak against it for some.
Pych 12 May, 2022 @ 2:15am
Why use this and not Rimpy?
Shinandygans 11 May, 2022 @ 7:09am
@shakeyourbunny I, too, am curious about this nasty surprise. Besides a lack of color coding and being unable to count to 3, I'm not seeing an argument.
thailyn 9 May, 2022 @ 7:11pm
@shakeyourbunny please don't spread FUD about RimPy without good reason. If anything, these are bugs or oversights that should be reported to the author, upon which they will be fixed.
1) Please describe how RimPy modifies mods. I have used it with >700 active mods at a time and have not experienced any issues because of it.
2) What's the nasty surprise? Please tell us; this is your perfect soapbox.
3) This is a personal opinion, so I can't say anything against this. It took me a little bit to learn how to use it, but it is not overly complicated to me.
shakeyourbunny 9 May, 2022 @ 10:16am
The main two points of not using RimPy are:
- RimPy does modify the mods it installs, often resulting in strange behaviour of the mods.
- the author of RimPy does make a great secrecy about the source of it, but this did not stop me from decompiling it and looking through it. Trust me, don't use RimPy if you don't want to be in a nasty surprise.
- lastly, RimPy is too overcomplicated for its own good.

Modswitch does its job fine.

Good thing I read thos top two comments, I was about to ask the same thing (:
Mlie  [author] 8 May, 2022 @ 10:02pm
@Makk No
Makk 8 May, 2022 @ 2:23pm
Does it works together with Mod Manager (from Fluffy)?
dinhkhiem199833 8 May, 2022 @ 2:08pm
too much freedom, functionalities, and convenience = poop. But I guess some just want to keep it simple.
G 8 May, 2022 @ 7:44am
lol "because it doesnt have colours and confuses me" nice reasoning
Rex705 8 May, 2022 @ 5:43am
Rimpy is super poop. Modswitch is a super simple UI with just 2 buttons to save and load your mod order and you can color code your mods. Rimpy is super confusing bs pointless UI and you can't color code mods. That's my 2 cents I tried Rimpy then tossed it in the trash.
AsielR64 8 May, 2022 @ 3:43am
@shakeyourbunny
Why avoid using RimPy
J 8 May, 2022 @ 2:23am
@shakeyourbunny
What’s wrong with RimPy?
shakeyourbunny 8 May, 2022 @ 12:14am
@Dmitry6: you should avoid RimPy.
Mlie  [author] 7 May, 2022 @ 10:16pm
@Dmityy6 Yes
Dmitry6 7 May, 2022 @ 9:37pm
RimPy is more functional, right?
Rex705 7 May, 2022 @ 2:45pm
Sweet thanks you are a life saver!
