Hey Doudel, I'm a little curious- Is there any chance you'd ever put the pegasus and god horses (Or at least, the tamed versions, not specifically spawning wild just existing within the mod data) in this mod, so that when we leave the map we can take them with us to the next map? I'm not sure if that was ever planned, but they're lovely creatures and I know we'll miss these species next time we move!

Hello just to be sure to understand correctly, if I leave Caballus map in my mod list, but I play on another map (Valguero), can I still use this variant mod? To have the griffins and others on valguero? Thx

Would it be possible to add the Caballus Ice Wyvern variant: Caballus_Wyvern_Override_Ice as currently you cannot bring Caballus Ice Wyverns to other maps, despite having this mod across the cluster :]

I have tried so many different things, but when I go to the other servers the dinos from caballus just show a question mark, and wont let me throw them out. I have tried everything mentioned in the how too guide. nothing works! I cant even throw out the ice wyverns. I have dino storage mod, but cant find anything listed to convert them.

the horses insta-kick when trying to ride while taming. is there something to be done about this?

I had a similar issue to Nightly and the others. Couldn't tame a horse and then the rear buck / kick would not work.

I removed the Variants of Caballus mod from my Caballus map and this is working again. I have not tried this on a different map with the Mod but hopefully this can help some people. Might be a clash when running the mod on the map ??

Hey m having some similar issues to GetOffMyRaft, Bloodpossum, and ImperialTricksters where

with the horses I can't buck or use the right click but I can use the left click bite attack. I'm also having similar issues to being kicked off right away or not being able to ride and them spooking really easily. I hope this is fixed soon as I do love all the coats and designs i''ve seen so far <3

I'm not sure if this mod or the map is causing this(Cab map) but the two horses I've tamed do not buck(right kick attack), the left click does the head butt/bite attack but right click does nothing. What is going wrong? Is this a known bug?

Every time we try to Tame the horse the feed and go to ride it kick us off straight away. Please fix!!!!

im having a huge issue with taming horses. i can tame an equus just fine, but as soon as i try to tame a horse i run into problems.
!. it spooks to easily, and it its also inconsistent when it spooks
2. when i manage to feed it a carrot it either runs away immediately or, if it doesnt run away, it kicks me off immediately when i manage to get on it.
this is very frustrating as i really like the horses, but i unfortunately cannot tame them

how to spawn Shimmer Unicorn or griffin i cant find them anywhere in map since day 1

you just need this mod when you play caballus in a cluster and want to transfer the caballus variants to other maps

So I don't need to have this mod active for the Caballus map, just the other maps I want Caballus horses on?

No you dont need this Mod - just Caballus

That is not right. I spoke again with Admin of Arkovia - there are no problems to tame a horse, a equus or the shimmer variants.

If you have downloaded this mod in correlation to the Caballus map you do not need this mod for that map. I have noticed if you download this mod with the map it prevents you from taming any Equus.

Horses change colors in single player mode when logging off and logging back in. I saw that was an issue listed in the creator's other Equus Variants mod, but I didn't see that in the description on this one. Such a shame, but I still love all the new colors and patterns

I'm not sure if the mods I am using are having issues with the mod since I do not have any creature mods nor behavioral changing mods. I would test on singleplayer which one is the issue but I have already started a save and would like to keep it. If anyone does test these mods please let me know.

Hello, just popping in to say I’m having the same issue with not being able to tame equus. I was checking comments to see if a fix had been found, but since it appears to be a situational issue, I wanted to provide more feedback.

The mods I am currently playing Caballus with are a slightly modified list of the same mods provided by YouTubers Syntac and JimBob, who recently started a new series on Caballus a few days ago. Their mod list is as follows: https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2963639949

The only modifications to this list I have made are as follows:
-Did not install Additional Emotes
-Did not install Ark Additions Domination Rex
- Did not install Atlas Hydra
- Did not install Better PVE
- Did not install Syntac Chibi
- Installed ForceFixDino Mod
- Installed CrystalClear Mod

Hope this helped! I have not yet tried DoTame on the equus, but plan to do so when I play today to see if it works as a playable fix to the issue.

I talked to the big cluster / server member I developed the mod VOC - they told me they have no problems. Maybe some other mods are making problems / are not compatible (for example Better Dinos)? Otherwise play the map without the VOC Mod, but THAN ýou cant transfer Caballus special dinos

Im also having issues. I get kicked immediately off when trying to tame and as im an owner of a small server for friends, if i command tame one it has no kick animation. Instead it drains it stamina and was even causing torpor to itself when i was trying to knock out a paleo carno

I am expierencijg the same problems as JustJess. When i try to tame a horse it imidietdly kicks me off and my whole game lags for a good minute. I tried taming equus and that works like intended.

Can anyone tell me how to tame the horses? I tried taming them like normal equus but with mejoberries instead of rockarrots. It immediately kicks me off as soon as I get on the horse.

Ah man, I wish I knew my way around the kit better, I remember seeing it discussed somewhere about how to do it but its been a while. If I find it I'll let you know!

@Senaru, searched the setting for the look at ally a long time. All the new Dinos vor example the X-Variants or R-Variants dont look at allys either. Unfortunately I dont know how to set it up. But I will keep trying.

Unrelated to my previous post, I've just encountered a game crash that I was able to repeat. I've been looking at the critters in the mod on a SP valguero (fresh sp world), and used the vanilla admin gun to kill a couple horses I'd spawned extras of. Now I don't know why, but the admin gun is able to kill the first animal, but if I fire a second time at another one, the game crashes with a fatal error. I thought it was odd and reopened the game, set up the scenario again, (using shimmering horses the second time) and the same result happened. I'm not sure if this particular error is exclusive to SP, or if it exists on a server as well since I haven't had a chance to put the mod on my two just yet but I figured I'd post my findings here in case the bug wasn't reported yet! (The first crash was with the Horse_Character_BP_VOC, the second with ShimmerEquus_Character_BP_VOC, unsure if it is only the horses or if it will occur with all the animals )

Oo, these are beautiful! There is one extremely tiny and not super important suggestion I have for the gryphons (er, griffons xD spelling habit) is that they'd be even better with 'look' animations turned on. For some reason WC forgot to check the box for that in the dev kit, so most modded griffins don't look at people or turn their heads to face the direction a player is looking while riding them. (One mod that has them turned on is the 'gryphons' mod for example). I'm not sure specifically if its a checkbox or something but I know it's in the kit already in some form. I think it'd make them feel even more alive and responsive in game :D
