@MoshPitt if you're having performance issues running Space Engineers that likely has less to do with game optimization and more to do with your rig and how it's set up.

Multiple suns, given multiple light support, the collection of AI NPC mods... All I'm seeing is a recreation of Pitch Black's scenario. :heart_eyes_yeti:

yes, however the game runs crappy enough with a single light source. I can't imagine how this would impact performance with multiple rendered light sources.

Is this non central sun for planets?
Always bug me that all plnets have same star.
Very old geme named Freelancer has stars (as bright planets) that will kill you if you try to go where they are.
Rotation can be tricky as planets tend to rotate around sun but SE voxel cannot allow to move planets.

No, which is why the binary star is close to the original star. Its a visual effect only.

We can ask keen for multiple environment light support :)
