To be more precise:

The mod works, but if another player attacks an enemy army on turn 1, it will very likely cause a desync with other mods that are commonly used, such as Mod Configuration Tool.

This seems to be a normal desync related to loading elements from these mods, I guess.

After that, the mod will stop working entirely. The option to change settlement will disappear, and you won’t be able to use the MCT option “Always show option”, because it will crash the whole campaign with the error message “Campaign aborted” (or something like that, not sure of the exact wording in English).

So if you want it to work in multiplayer right now:

You have to change your settlement before your friends (or other players in the lobby) engage in their first battle. Otherwise, you’ll need to restart the campaign.

It worked fine before the last update of the MCT and of the game.

I think this is causing desyncs in current patch. Not 100%, but they happen less with it off.

Best mod ever, though lately we've had an issue both in single player and multiplayer where the hosts capital get randomly converted into a ruins. No battle or message appears, just look over and see it's in ruins. Loading back fixes it, but then it just happens again randomly on another turn.

I have only had problems in multiplayer if you click the info on how to play tzeentch before you've been in a battle or reloaded. So you'll want to change settlements, save and reload or start a battle and it should be good. Played with 3 people and it was no problem

Mod does not work in multi lately for 3 or more players. It always worked in the past with more than 3 for us but not now. 2 or more it works though always with no issues.

Is it possible to change the position of other lords with this? I wanna play a more challenging cathay campaign. And I was thinking if I could teleport zhao ming to the realms of chaos or something, I could battle everyone for Cathay without his help. Lol

Or.. what if I just steal his starting settlement? Will he just poof into thin air?

how does this work for multiplayer? our names are in the way of the buttons that allow you to change starting cities :(

first great mod. Second, it is janky as hell with the chaos dwarfs. one good thing is that the drill of hashut gets put in the settlement you choose but its bugged so you can't upgrade it. Also, the game leaves behind the labourers you start with, and finally you can't accrue new labour until you capture a second province because you can't acess the labour menu and you need to check off that you want a specific region to accept new labour. Normally this isn't a problem because the game automatically checks off your starting province, but when you swap provinces it doesn't check it off.

I got around the last one by first taking one settlement from another province before moving on to the main one but yeah. bugs, or just jank depending on your definition.

@I Love Flame are u playing 3 players or more? if so that's your issue right there, it will desync if u try to move 2 players when playing a 3 multiplayer game, only 1 can move

Almost every province capital that I change to starts with only 3 upgrade levels available, like those ogre settlements in Greasus region. Any way to fix this problem?

So unfortunately Ikit's workshop upgrade is tied to the landmark in Skavenblight, and even if the mod moves the landmark to your new city of choice you can't upgrade it, and thus can't upgrade the workshop.

Does anyone know of a mod that would let you remove that specific requirement from the workshop? I'd love to play Ikit elsewhere than around Skavenblight.

You can remove the list of players in multiplayer to reveal the button... There is a button in top left to get rid of it @Dr_Sedated

Mod works great, only problem was in multiplayer;
The buttons to change starting settlement are covered by the list of players. If they buttons were an inch down the screen it would be fixed.

Is there a way to move the icons? In Multiplayer the player banners cover the icons making them unclickable

Having the same issues with 3 man group, desyncs after every attempt at battle start!

In a 3 man group can confirm the same issue happens where it desyncs and bricks the save, but we were only using this mod

Im not sure it its because of the mod, but in a 3 man Group I was the only one who changed the settlement and we got a desynch which destroyed the whole savestate.

But we played with more than just this mod, so cant say for sure it was because of it.

I can't get this to work with the new Khorne LL's, yes I can change the settlement but as soon as I attack someone at the new location he game crashes immediately. Wat do? :cozypaladinsbmbk:

I'd love the ability to change AI starting settlement. That, and the ability to remove certain factions and settlements (leaving no ruins) entirely would allow players to create custom mini-campaigns with a simple interface.
