Hi there. I'm getting a script break, with JUST this mod. Something like this:

SCRIPT ERROR, timestamp <85.6s>
ERROR: set_saved_value() called but supplied value [brt_title_holder_1] is not a boolean, number, string or a table


and more versions of the same with "[brt_title_holder_2]", "[brt_title_holder_3]", etc. love this mod!

MOD UPDATE:
-Tides of Torment factions given evolving names.
-Changed the Norscan factions requirements, as well as some of the evolving names.

OLD WORLD:
Added support-ish for the Old World mod as well. The requirements aren't fine-tuned for the Old World mod. As in the factions needs the same as they do in the vanilla campaign. But the evolving names should now at least work in the Old World mod campaign as well.

Yeah no for anyone wondering, this does not work with the Old World. All factions will remain at their first tier of faction name for the entire game. Don't know if its ever intended to work with The Old World.

Did you ever manage to figure out what the issue is with the "Principality of Luccini" bug? Cause it bothers me to high hell and it's only happening when I recruit any defeated legendary lords from TEB playing as Gashnag.

Might be because there's technically two Leopold's (one from Heroes of Legend, and one from TEB)... all I know is I love this mod and I hate this bug.

I second this @Chaosnoob5, does this mod work on the Old World Campaign Mod or maybe I need to rename a city in the Altdorf region to Altdorf for it to trigger? I’ve been playing Karl, already unified Middenland, Talabecland, Hochland, even Marienburg but my faction name is still “City State of Altdorf”, its just a minor thing but it is starting to get annoying

ok so activating this mod alone, the culture name doesn't change, it's still chaos dwarves for example instead of dawi zharr, did the mod break or did u delete the changes? i want them back

Hello, the mods is really interesting to me! But I must ask, is there a submod that
does not rename the cultures/races? I think changing them just make thing more confusing at first glance.

checked that yesterday, and i honestly have no idea why this happens. The Principalty of Luccini name is from the mod that adds Prince Lorenzo Lupo. Idk either why i cant change the faction name, its still the same, must be a problem on my end. Ill look into it by myself sometime.

Principality of Luccini aren't tier 2, 3 or 4 faction name we're using in our mod, as far as I remember? o.O And you should still be able to change your own faction name, yeah.

i got the wrong name, playing as Estalia using TEB, and i also got the legendary characters mod, and got the name "Principalty of Luccini" when i reached 5 settlements, and i cant manually change it. i remember being able to do so, is that a fake memory, did the feature got removed, or is it a bug?

Change it back as in how would I personally go about changing the race/faction names in the race selection screen back to the lore themed race names? I don't have much modding experience but I'd imagine it can't be that difficult?

Nothing to thank me for! :) My apologies for the initial confusion. Change it back? A bit confused by that question :) You mean 'change back', as in back to vanilla, or 'change back', as in into more lore themed faction names?

They aren't meant to show up in the faction selection screen :) Not because not wanting it to, but rather because sadly changing the names there doesn't change the sorting order as well. Meaning myself and others found it made the selection screen a lot more annoying, rather than fun, to use overall.

I thought you meant they weren't showing up at all. I've also got the bug where they show up everywhere except for the faction selection screens when starting a new game.

Yep; literally none of that works. The new racial names do show up in the Skirmish mode and in Diplomacy screen in Campaign but not the race select screen. Everything else works fine; faction names change and show up in the faction selection screen, it's everything but racial names.

All I can think of at this point is uninstall + reinstalling the game, but they were working fine a few months ago so I have no idea what would have changed.

1. Did you remember to enable the mod in the launcher and aren't brainfarting by posting here?
2. Have you adjusted the load order and checked other mods for conflicts?
3. Try running without any other mods.
4. Unsubscribe, launch the game, exit the game, subscribe, enable, launch, and see if that fixed the problem.

If you have and are still having the problem then I have no idea why that could be since it's working just fine for me.

I think that this needs some name tinkering for Gelt. I took the option to return to the empire and Blitzkreiged Marrienburg. I have a replacement mod for great power so I had the Iron Dragon pissed at me for taking three cathay provinces, 2 from rebels and 1 from khornite.

The mod has cathayans ticked for someone else owning their land, same goes for every culture.

Bastonne might need an overhaul for its names.
As funny as it is to have Heartlands of Bretonnia in the Darklands, Bohemond left his home in WH3. X)

Bug report, not working with Skryre. Was using IEE and The Lost World but have never had difficulty with them in previous mods. Counted up to 31 regions, which should have been sufficient for Level 3 but was still plain old Skryre. Just FYI!

Causes a LUA error. Can it affect the game in any way? Or just disable the message and forget about it?
