@IMperator05 Latest update changed it so only people in the capital could actually appear in the royal court, most of the time vassals stay where they're at.

Either you have an altered default file, or it is some sort of dlc feature. Try verifying integrity of game files and check again

@FunGaming44 I checked the default code and there weren't any references to a slave trait of any kind. I'm not sure about that being an existing game mechanic

It could be a dlc or modded mechanic, but it doesn't exist in the vanilla files

You don't understand you missed updating part of the default game code that should be in there about the slave it is a new game mechanic that you left out causing issues now

@FunGaming44 This mod doesn't have a slavery system or a slave trait of any kind, and so it shouldn't have any references in code

If you are talking about Bum to god, the mod isn't getting updated until the issues introduced by recent patches are fixed and the mod can be made playable again

In 00_court_role_triggers.txt you are missing a part that got updated in 3 different lines you need to have NOT = { has_trait = slave } otherwise slaves can become councilor and that causes all kinds of crazyness

its a minor issue of course. but its a bit funny to always see counts guarding thrones like they have no other worries in life.

@FunGaming44 No, it only makes it so characters who already have a royal court do not appear as regular guests in the Royal Court. They still appear when petitioning.

Does this new update not prevent kings who have their own royal court from appearing in your court if your an emperor, like when they petition etc. ??

Update: Characters who already have royal courts are now prevented from appearing as regular guests in their liege's Royal Courts, since witchcraft is a sin.

Are you sure, because I see my character in my wife's court or in the court of my father without this mod.

when \if you manage to keep the character in one court only, will there be a possibility to apply the same logic to the AI?

every play-through I keep seeing this fellow vassal (a king) in his court while simultaneously being at our leige's court (an emperor)

I didn't really have hope for this to be ever addressed. but seeing you sentence about the sin of witchcraft ignited my hopes.
