Unfortunately not a tech we have, but luckily you can just grab the Enhanced Storage mod if you haven't already. Doesn't affect gameplay and even now the early Garden tents have high storage capacity so they can act as a depot before actual sorting.

It won't support any GIC containers (something that'd need to be patched in) but most containers you'll be using are likely vanilla like the wooden crates in the Production Workbench, but not the custom ship lockers.

The gameplay is fair, the bosses are fun to fight and the story got me hooked, love the reference to many games including stronghold.
it made me feel like i'm playing another game which is a great enjoyment.

i know that when you defeat bosses you get new crafting recipes (probably for the soulforgable trinkets) but i dont know where to craft them
i have looked myelf silly for some crafting station or part of the hub

GIC does not interfere with FU spawning. Though GIC + FU + Truespace (3 at once) is for some reason incompatible. Appearing as "unknown" midgame isn't something I've seen before but it sounds like your entire FU just broke? GIC is not normally incompatible with FU.

GIC is not intended to be launched from midgame for story-trigger reasons (possibility of soft-bricking the plotline), but it should not affect the technical aspect in relation to the game at large. Try moving your ship a large distance away.

Also again check to make sure your FU isn't broken outright and also ensure you aren't running different versions of GIC at once.

As for the FU BYOS, make sure you're only trying one patch and follow any instructions on their pages.

Additionally, please provide a log file when you launch the game and encounter these "unknown" planets.

When I'm using this mod along with FU, the FU planets just won't spawn or will display as unknown when i tried to load midgame. What should i do? Also it seems FU BYOS ship is always having navigation offline whenever Gic is active. I tried with all patches provided but seems not working
