So for example if your building each bee with block that is 2x 2x 2x in size and you got 3 blocks wide and 4 blocks long and 2 blocks high you could possible make mini bee with just enough room for few core systems like power supply and what not and each bee could share the load.
Such as 10 bees have generators and another 10 have power storage and another 10 have crew blocks and all the bees got mini thrusters on the back :)
