It used to be from my recollection that Nana's ability only applied to heroes, making her a very niche utility. Now, she's expanded to being a solid anti-special unit. Very good. Also like the buff given to Sekiro where he can jump from forests and hills. A much needed movement option for forest and hill exploration.

@WildW Heya, you ever figure out the code that manages to spawn a heroes' epic? I haven't been able to complete my modded hero because of it.

@WildW Last I checked, this was the only mod that adds new heroes, so having another one will be a welcome addition to the workshop. Here's hoping you figure it out.

Hey Flactine, I've tried getting a hold of you over on discord but haven't gotten any responses yet. Months ago I started my own Heroes mod and for the most part, finished it too, but I stopped after spending an entire day unable to figure out how to get their epic to spawn once the hero dies. I looked through your code and still couldn't figure it out, but hopefully you can shed some light on it and help me out?

I am a bit curious. Is Sekiro limited to 7 active promotions, or can he get more than that if you level him enough? I'm wondering because almost everything else in the game has 7 or fewer promotions.

Does Chito and Yurui buff the movement of all units by 3? I have a feeling this is the case. There was no movement buff before I got them, but after I got them, there's a buff. The +3 movement is huge coming from a single source and being global.

Very powerful on top of an already powerful bonus of free depredation with oil on a unit while also having a ranged attack. If instead, Chito and Yurui provided no movement bonus and had a base movement of 7, they'd already be powerful pillage heroes. If you wanted, you could even have them be swift for a bit of real carnage, and to not be outshone by a helicopter.

As it currently stands, I won't even bother dedicating to Maple, she's so incredibly weak. Buff her combat strength by a factor of at least ten, give her +1 movement, or at the very least, give her the rugged trait, and maybe she can stand with the other heroes. If she's going to be that weak, she needs a utility ability, and she's STILL too weak. Buff her, Please!

Also, they seem kinda weak compared to the other heroes, Maple especially, only having a base 50 combat strength in the Renaissance Era,10 less than Huang Lee. To put that into perspective, the utility resource hero Maui has a base combat strength of 66. He could beat Maple in a fight on the offense, and still has the ability to spawn resources. As for combat based heroes, Beowulf has a combat strength of 72 and the ability to delete weaker units.

In addition to being weaker, they are cripplingly slow. With a mobility rating of 2 and the inability to ignore terrain, it is a challenge to get them into position, a problem we don't have with any of the vanilla heroes, all of them have at least 3 mobility and the ability to ignore certain terrain, except Sinbad. He doesn't need to ignore terrain.

Huang Lee's bonus of doing double damage when attacking is okay, but if you're going up against a science civ, he's still gonna take a ton of damage. I tend to propel myself far on the tech tree, and unfortunately, the heroes' combat strength scales with world era, not my technology, so there's that to consider; not a problem with this mod mind you.

Still, I am discouraged from attacking with Huang Lee because he's still going to take a ton of damage. Perhaps if this was reworked to providing extra combat strength instead,I'd have the courage to have him attack and utilize his extra effectiveness when attacking. Maybe he's still useful when attacking a city.

I'm all for more variety in the heroes in the game, but in the current state, Huang Lee and Maple at least are almost objectively bad heroes and require a substantial buff in order to be viable.

The two heroes I've discovered are Huang Lee and Maple. Both are quite slow. A bit problematic since you only have so long to use them and you need the mobility to make good use of them before they expire.
