From what I can tell, what this does is spawn gigantic raids and greatly increase quest rewards.

All events generated by him should either bug out or break immersion... like Insect Hive wants a peace talk or Tax Collector from Savage Tribals. Every year he will nerf popular game mechanics like all food grows instantly, all shots always hit, hunger and temperature doesn't kill anyone etc. until after a few years no challenge at all remains in the game. To compensate he constantly annoys you with failed memes about Randy that entirely miss the joke. He also adds additional flavor text to items that completely goes against all previously established Rimworld lore. "Archotechs are basically nuclear trees. Randy Randy. Harr Harr Harr."
