@Teh Bro
Thank you! How could I not have guessed it right away ;-)
But I think it was easier to dig deeper into the script file:steammocking:
Morgan 28 Mar @ 7:25pm
May I add this to my modpack?
Teh Bro 22 Feb @ 9:07am
@Глазастый Пью you need to bring the dirty rags to a water source, right click and choose wash rags. that will make them normal rags that you can use for crafting
Peni4 15 Jan @ 5:10am
Friend, this is a great mod, but is it possible to add Bone Mod ADDON support? Because, for example, it’s hard to find a real needle when you live in a deep forest, you know?...
Васька Хроник 22 Jun, 2023 @ 9:42am
Hello. Very useful mod, I've been using it for a long time.
Tell me, I want to use dirty rags, how can I add them?
ekstasyfresh  [author] 24 Jan, 2023 @ 8:52am
@Kai - Go ahead!
Space Sprout 22 Jan, 2023 @ 10:43am
Hello! I’m Kai reaching out on behalf of the Day’s End Roleplay server. We have been using your mod in our server and have loved it. We were hoping to make it part of our permanent mod pack. Please let me know if you are interested!

anyway you cvould introduce a bleach recipe? or a homemade variant that does the same job
John 9 Aug, 2022 @ 7:04pm
Hey, for some reason your recipes have disappeared from my existing saves both in singleplayer and in multiplayer. Any idea on if this might be a 41_73 issue?
Indigena84 29 Jul, 2022 @ 2:41am
Kindly asking, if its possible to make it compatible with Shuru Tailoring and Tailoring Fix (both having compatibility with each other), well as far as Im using it is Awesome (MP without problems), except that in the context menu I have two options to craft thread, and I dont really know wich belongs to wich mod, or is one of the mentioned before.
Cat navigator 23 Jul, 2022 @ 10:17am
new recipes did not appear in my old world
ekstasyfresh  [author] 14 May, 2022 @ 3:49pm
Preach, @justbob234
beans 14 May, 2022 @ 11:12am
this should just be in the game by default, at least the sheet reciepie imo it would be AMAZING for multiplayer servers that run vanilla no respawns
TrapheekJam 11 Feb, 2022 @ 2:13pm
in my dedicated server, stone axe didn't take damage from crafting chipped stone. is this expected?
Aevumdefluo 10 Feb, 2022 @ 2:53am
Works just fine in MP
Guile 2 Feb, 2022 @ 4:21am
Is this mod compatible with latest version + MP?
SH1TWORKS 27 Jan, 2022 @ 1:21am
Tested and confirmed working as intended on Build 41.56 if anyone is still playing solo on there. Thanks for the great mod. Definitely a must.
Purp 25 Jan, 2022 @ 7:33am
@plsdontcall Thank you very much!
ekstasyfresh  [author] 25 Jan, 2022 @ 7:00am
@Purp - You sure can!
Purp 24 Jan, 2022 @ 6:33pm
@plsdontcall Could I add this mod to a modpack for my server? I would credit you and add links back to this page in the description.

i like this, its realistic
bearhiderug 18 Jan, 2022 @ 6:13pm
KEEP IT SIMPLE
bearhiderug 18 Jan, 2022 @ 6:13pm
I think thread yield should be staric myself
PychicTEDYBear 18 Jan, 2022 @ 2:15pm
I am totally fine with less yield from using other sharp objects and the tailoring skill is not a bad idea. The idea in my head is really towards "Why can I just use a piece of ripped sheets and use it like twine" in my game I am having a hard time finding any twine so I can make other equipment
Specter 17 Jan, 2022 @ 6:26pm
Maybe also less yield if you're using non-optimal tools? (the knife instead of scissors) or maybe less yield with a chance if ruining the material. Both make sense to me in the spirit of PZ's realistic survival sim theme.
ekstasyfresh  [author] 16 Jan, 2022 @ 9:46pm
@PychicTEDYBear - How do you feel about your thread yield being based around your tailoring skill level? Obviously you wouldn't need a maxed level tailor to get full spools of thread. Gathering fibers to use as thread is more of a tedious task than a technical one anyway.

Also, knife sounds cool. I feel like maybe a greater chance of ruining material if you're using a knife, though. Maybe, maybe? This could all just be needlessly complicated for just gathering thread. What's your thoughts? Anyone?
PychicTEDYBear 15 Jan, 2022 @ 8:03pm
Hey just thinking about the thread if the recipe is just scissors an 2 ripped sheets. Shouldn't it be possible just to let any sharp tool like knives to be able to make it to?
ekstasyfresh  [author] 13 Jan, 2022 @ 12:48pm
@Koldank - It'll work on your saved game
Koldank 13 Jan, 2022 @ 11:41am
Do I have to start a new game or I can just run my saved game after I got this mod installed?
ekstasyfresh  [author] 13 Jan, 2022 @ 7:20am
@Tame - You're very welcome! :)
Tame 13 Jan, 2022 @ 4:40am
Soft-locking the game by denying players literally the two of the oldest technologies known to humankind (smash two rocks together to make sharp rock; spin small strings, make big string) is criminal.
Thank you so much for this.
Monario 11 Jan, 2022 @ 3:12am
@MandyRarsh -- Hotwiring with "Better Lockpicking" is just a guessing game xD the mod is awesome, but the hotwire just comes down to cutting all 4 wires and find which random 2 wires will ignite the engine when you combine them, nothing more to it o/
Monario 11 Jan, 2022 @ 3:10am
@marshmallow justice -- Can you describe exactly which incompatibility issues you are experienced with this and Better Lockpicking enabled? I also use that mod and now I'm hesitant lol, but I also can't think how the two mods would conflict.

Thanks in advance.

And to the mod author, thanks for the mod! Yeah it may not be "balanced" in the mind of the sadistic game devs xD but these aren't friggin' mythical items either :P
Satuis Aburda 10 Jan, 2022 @ 4:24pm
It feels perfect, not too low nor too high of a gain.
ekstasyfresh  [author] 10 Jan, 2022 @ 4:12pm
@bearhiderug - Hooray! Let me know if the XP gain feels like it needs to be adjusted any. :)
bearhiderug 10 Jan, 2022 @ 2:31pm
I too look forward to the xp gain, and was able to remove another mod now redundant =]
ekstasyfresh  [author] 10 Jan, 2022 @ 1:23pm
@MandyRarsh - Fortunately, it doesn't seem to me like you'll have to make that choice!

@Satuis Aburda - You're very welcome! :)
Satuis Aburda 10 Jan, 2022 @ 11:05am
Thanks for the XP gain implementation.
Edward Newgate 9 Jan, 2022 @ 8:42pm
I wouldn't use better lockpicking, I mean it may just be me and how I don't understand how to hotwire but maybe just not use it lol this seems more beneficial imo
ekstasyfresh  [author] 9 Jan, 2022 @ 11:56am
@marshmallow justice - I found no conflicts between the two mods. My mod only adds like four recipes to the game, so I can't really imagine it'd conflict with Better Lockpicking.
Nesano 9 Jan, 2022 @ 9:00am
Oh, man. I've been wanting a mod for banging rocks together to get chipped stones for so long. Even made a forum post about it with a Fallout 3 reference.
marshmallow justice 9 Jan, 2022 @ 7:18am
TebyTeb 23 Dec, 2021 @ 10:44am
This mod causes incompatibility issues with Better Lockpicking.

Was this ever a thing or some other issue?
ekstasyfresh  [author] 8 Jan, 2022 @ 12:41pm
@bearhiderug - If you'd like, you can link to the mod that you use in case anyone else might want a mod that gives XP to craft these items. I'll test around with XP gains with these things at some point. I don't think I've ever actually tried to work tailoring due to it's tedium.

@NonCancerAlias - There is nothing you need to apologize for! Seriously! Thank you, however, for confirming what you're issue was!
Chudrick Westfallen 8 Jan, 2022 @ 12:15pm
My appologies to the mod author, apparently sometimes the game wont update mods unless you go into the game files and delete the steamapps folder
bearhiderug 8 Jan, 2022 @ 12:14pm
I can not give good input on that. I do not have enough experience in the game to acknowledge that. Some at least. I would compare to other tailor items and other mods with tailor items, and balance around that.
ekstasyfresh  [author] 8 Jan, 2022 @ 11:17am
@bearhiderug - What do you think would be fair amounts of XP to get per a crafted item?
bearhiderug 8 Jan, 2022 @ 9:53am
My opinion is the amount of xp to gain higher levels is absurdly high. No xp is a complete waste of resources if your goal is to level up your tailor skill. If your goal is to get a few sheets and a few twine to survive a day and die then remake a chracter it does not matter at all. If someone WANTS to level up but they waste resources for no xp gain then screw that. Another mod I get like 1.5 xp from crafting twine, rope etc. When you need 1500 xpo to level up the skill...
You got to kill Zs to rip cloth to craft twine. We can grab sheets from every other window in a houseing district.
xp > no xp
I have no desire for cheese and cheats. I typicaly always side with balance. Zero is typicaly not balance.
Eather way. I will continue to rip clothes and make twine =D
Paulthulhu 8 Jan, 2022 @ 5:59am
Someone on my server today asked if we could craft Rope.
Well, now I can say yes. Thank you!
ekstasyfresh  [author] 7 Jan, 2022 @ 8:35pm
@NonCancerAlias - This is likely due to either the server or the client not updating to the latest version of the mod.
Chudrick Westfallen 7 Jan, 2022 @ 8:25pm
I don't know what's wrong with it but this mod fucks up multiplayer for me, hasn't done it in the past but some kind of "new version" rubs the game all the wrong ways
