ah ok,
yeah its like some steam notifications - if you cant get online for a day or 2, once they go past the 10 page limit, they get lost forever :)

The one they were referring to is Animal Controls. It's been out since 3/21 and has 5 stars but I've never seen it. Crazy.

I removed these two that we've needed for years and installed Animal Controls. So far it does at least that these two accomplish as well as pass the restriction on to their offspring. What else it does I have not found or looked yet though. I'll be running Animal Controls for the foreseeable future but will keep these up for others and reference.

There is a version of this out there that automatically passes restriction onto the newborns.

so this is somewhat working, I can set the restriction individually when selecting an animal, but I cannot get this to show up on any of the list views, not the animal tab and not the numbers tab when switched to animals.

@TheGoofyOne I swear the food inheritance WAS working in my last 1.4 game. Not sure why it stopped... So, eta on a fix hopefully?

This works, but the food restrictions no longer apply automatically to animal offspring which is a bit annoying.

From my experience this mod does not recognize Hay as a food to feed sick animals. I assume this is due to it not being possible in the base game?

If I was able to I would look into that, but I am not, I only updated the about.xml so RW sees it made for 1.3. The original author would need to i'm afraid.

Would it be possible to add an option in the mod settings to make it so that animals in pens always ignore their food restrictions? The idea is that if they are in a pen, they will likely already be grazing and only eating the food you give them, and if your first food profile is designed for colonists, newly born animals will use that and will therefore starve until you change it manually.

Alternatively, a way to make children inherit the food restrictions from their parents would be quite useful.

If RimHUD is needed, maybe it should be a required mod?
