Thank you! It did fix it. Now both instances of the issue are gone, and the mod works fine. Hoping it fixes it for the other guy as well.

I think I might have found it. There were some old changes I was planning that never got implemented and had syntax error that got included. I'll try if removing it fixes the issue.

What error does it say?

I have the same issue. My makeshift solution was to remove the mod altogether, to be able to open the save screen, and launch the map again (probably only worked because we weren't using anything from Noel's mod at the time).
The error comes up whenever the Noel mod is enabled in the mod list of the save. I tried verifying that by clicking create a new world, and as soon as I check the box to enable Noel's mod in the mods list, the game crashes.

Oh. Sorry I don't know what could have cause it not to load. I needed to add that update also to fix attack animation for both mouse and controller. It only changed animations and version number so there might be another mod causing it not to load because of the different version number. I can't really tell.

After the update, I can't load my saved files.. The files where I played as the noel character won't open. However, if I create a new world, it works fine.

That's probably why it's crashing. Just don't cook gyudon if you want to use that mod.

The 'Auto pick up and stack up' mod does not seem to be the cause of the problem. I tested it with only that mod, the 'Noel' mod, and the 'show me' mod enabled, and there were no crashes. I cloned the server I was playing on, removed the 'Auto pick up and stack up' mod, and tested it again, but this time, it crashed... Hmm... I wonder why. I will post the error logs again.

Oh really. I was thinking of adding one when I added that config, but I didn't expect not having it would cause issues on that mod.

For the defense that was intentional for her to still have lower defense than those better armor. Since she can wear backpack and miner hat at the same time. Just the fact she can do that is too good

I noticed if I use this with the Tropical Experience mod she drowns when trying to use the boats in that mod(E.g. the cargo boat from Tropical Experience), I tested with only this mod and Tropical experience.
I think it's because she can't wear armour, Would it be possible to add a option to let her wear amour but have it not stack with her damage resistance, E.g. if she were to wear a Thulecite Suit she would would use it's 90% damage resistance instead of her 80% damage resistance.

Her AoE animation is really impressive, I personally love going through config to change things when they might be a bit too op - but this is amazing

you should be mostly fine tho. Reaching 0 sanity is like not a good idea to begin with.
Just make tents and cook meatballs to keep your sanity high.

Farming silks should be easy for noel

you can try walking with your friend in low sanity if that really concerns you.
If I remember correctly it will still be slightly slower than normal.

It gives like 0.05 speed so your speed would be 0.85 at most with it on 0 sanity
Normal characters are 1

You can bring a walking cane to improve it a little bit or better get a Magiluminescence.
That thing will give you a ton of speed and noel doesn't need an armor so you can just keep wearing it.

I mean even with the speed boost from her crown, she still move slower than normal walk speed of other characters when her sanity is low or not ?

the crown only adds movement speed not remove the slower movement speed, so it just stacks with the slower movement speed.

Well, yeah. Now that I think about, the strongman moving stuff faster and easier would make sense. Guess they didn't think longterm when making characters and updates.
