In the mod "Kyulen - NinetailFox," the added characters possess both colonist and animal statuses. However, there remains an issue where only these added characters cannot be manually commanded for some reason. Since they are characters that can be drafted, it would be ideal if there were a way to exclude them from the mod's scope. Is it possible to implement such a setting?
But does work with housecats.
If this issue ever occurs again in a subsequent version, disabling the "Disable Undrafted Menu" option in the mod settings should fix the bug.
That option was supposed to hide all right-click menu actions when animals are undrafted (This saves quite a bit of FPS/TPS) but we forgot to make it not affect human pawns aswell. Oops :P
Should be all good now, though. But in case that happens in the future, just disable that option and it should be good to go.
If you would like to code the ability to toggle it yourself, That'd be great. Since you're probably better at coding in Rimworld's engine than I am :P
No, sorry.
thanks for understanding. :)
Please read descriptions next time before you post a comment :P
Please refer to the numerous times I say where I cannot update this mod because it was commissioned and im not a coder.
Sorry!
Dunno why this mod wouldn't work with those mods, but assuming they don't and you've tested it, then unfortunately there's nothing I can really do.
The code is very simple as far as im aware, it just adds draftability to all animals that have release. So if your gauranlen combat dryads have release then it should work. But im not the original coder, and i don't use the Gauranlen, so I cannot really say :P
Also, vanilla mechs are draftable and directly controllable already, you just can't control them from far away without mods.
actually, I didn't even know that vanilla mechanoids couldn't be drafted because I never take this mod off, so >w>
pawns are moving just fine in draft mode, I'm assuming all else is too :)
also do not own Anomaly
I do have a bunch of mods but it all seems fine and I can't think of one that would've broken it anyways
Just loaded up a test game with no mods other than Draftable Animals (I do not have the new DLC installed either, but i have all of the other ones enabled) and things are working just fine for me.
I'd recommend trying to unsubscribe from the mod, launch the game to make sure it's uninstalled, then reinstall it by resubscribing. Since I cannot replicate the issue on my end. Might also be a mod incompatibility, or maybe an incompatibility with the new dlc (Which unfortunately i can't test myself.)
The game shows the mod as still not compatible with 1.5 but here it is listed as updated
I'm not sure if the issue is just on my end with steam downloading the older version or if it still needs patching?
Since this is using the original code and not any of the patches afterwards, this should be a more stable build in general, although it might lack the Rescue/Capture feature that was added later. As such, i'll remove that feature from the description
I don't even want to tame animals until this is fixed lol should be in vanilla
