Thanks for suggestion :)
I updated the dependency to smashphil.srtsexpanded when I updated this mod to 1.4. If you are still seeing a dependency for smashphil.neceros.srtsexpanded, then it is because steam is not keeping this mod up to date. You may want to try manually deleting the file for this workshop item and then re-subscribing to it
Thanks for your answer specifically and the mod in general!
The error should be safe to ignore. It's something related to extending the SRTS Expanded mod, which I don't think I can control.
works great with advanced munitions
"XML error: <soundFlyBy>SoundDef</soundFlyBy> doesn't correspond to any field in type ThingDef"
regarding the BuildableAerodrone_BomberRun def... which is weird, because base SRTS defines that space exactly the same way and throws no errors about it. It appears to be common among SRTS-derived mods after a def update a while back.
I don't think it's fully CE compatible. The original mod description (SRTS Expanded) says that there is only partial compatibility with CE, and some people in the comments are talking about a forked version on Github that works better with CE.

You are correct, this mod does not require anything from the core Royal Arsenal mod to function properly. It only requires SRTS expanded.
These work like re-usable drop pods. Both can be used to transport cargo between maps, and the cargo variant can transport up to 2 pawns.
The military aerodrone can also be loaded with mortar shells and given an order to drop them at a location. This discussion has a good tutorial on how to use the bombing feature:

Both drone types are reusable. You should look at the original mod page (SRTS expanded) for some more information on how to use them if you haven't used that mod before.
I have also updated the description with some more info on each drone.
It uses techprints, which are added by royalty. More importantly, I don't want to risk violating community rules like 13c.

This mod works like SRTS expanded if you have ever played with that mod. I'd recommend reading the original mod page for some more information. There is another useful discussion here that gives more details on the bombing run feature:

The reason for your drones being lost is likely because the map is not loaded. Try sending a single pawn ahead to scout out the location. Once the enemy's base is loaded, you can order a bombing run on them.
