Sí, tengo que reworkear toda esta serie, el tema es que me lleva tiempo y ando con mil cosas, entre ellas rehacer el mod de mate.

No podes hacer el mod sin necesitar el Expanded Materials - Plastics ? :rinflipped:
Argón  [author] 29 Mar @ 10:45pm
It's in the About.xml file

Where can I change or add 1.4 tag to cause it to stop telling me its not the right mod version?
Argón  [author] 11 Feb @ 8:56pm
Yes, it's in spanish for now, but I'm actively working on translating it to Engish. And it certaily won't be my last book
Simbach Vazo 11 Feb @ 5:12pm
A book you say?
Argón  [author] 10 Feb @ 8:23pm
Yeah, I have to rework them. I can update these just by updating the tag, but I want to revamp all of them actually. I've been a bit away for a while, mostly focusing on my book, but I'll get some things released by summer's end (It's also really hot here and somedays I just spend them with my family outside where you don't melt)

I'd love to see all your mods on 1.4, but even till then, Keep up the Good Work.
Simbach Vazo 8 Feb @ 12:52pm
Imma leave a comment here to hear whenever that comes out, cause this looks really useful.
Argón  [author] 29 Jan @ 6:54pm
Yes, I wanna revamp all these as I did them with less knowledge and I currently don't like the implementation or balance. I will remember to add tags though I'm not sure if it does indeed work. I assume it does because it's pure vanilla stuff.
[XGm] XTCProbstA2_TTV 28 Jan @ 7:53pm
@Argon Do you mind if I ask if you could just make one that has a (all in one) pack that just requires one download? Was just asking, I know you said you are making them all from scratch? I'm not one to know much about rimworld modding, only maybe added a version tag to get rid of the warnings that it gives. Figured I would throw this out here to see whacha say about it.
Argón  [author] 25 Nov, 2023 @ 11:38am
That's fine. I will eventually remake the Expanded Materials mod, I'm just taking the time to do it properly and without rushing them like before, leaving some things broken or incomplete.
FatherlyGentleman 25 Nov, 2023 @ 11:19am
nah i wasnt trying to spam i thought i was supposed to let you know i wanted them all because i really liked them all so i tried leaving a message for all mods my bad that wasnt my intention just got excited
Argón  [author] 25 Nov, 2023 @ 10:53am
While I do appreciate the enthuisiasm and I am very thankful for the people who support my content. I don't think spamming comments in all my mods is the proper way to do it. I have made some mods that have old code and I haven't updated them because I'm remaking them from scratch. Most mods do work with 1.3 anyways, and the only reason they show as not compatible is because of the tag.
FatherlyGentleman 24 Nov, 2023 @ 11:22pm
PLEASE UPDATE ALL YOUR MODS TO 1.4 :) IT BE REALLY NICE OF YOU FOR THOSE WHO ARE FANS OF YOUR WORK AND THAT GIVE YOU GOOD RATINGS

I second that it would be great if Expanded Materials - Plastics was soft dependency. Mod looks great btw
Argón  [author] 3 Aug, 2021 @ 10:11am
I'll take the request, but If I modify this mod to not depend entirely on it, I'll take some time to balance it and also because I have some other mods being developed as well
Khaydar 3 Aug, 2021 @ 9:53am
Can you make the Expanded materials plastics a "soft" dependence? As I already use rimeffeler and there is too much overlap with it (Pc being a potato I have to trim my modlist)
Lustique 2 Aug, 2021 @ 11:41pm
Does this use the same "magic" that VFE - Production uses to add modded recipes to your workbenches? :D

I guess your plastic mod will never be compatible with Rimefeller, right? It probably wouldn't make much sense (too much overlap), but I think that's still a bit of a bummer. I think using your mod at first, and then "upgrading" to the Rimefeller stuff for increased oil supply (if you wanted to roleplay as an oil magnate, for example), keeping your production chains (and maybe mixing with some PRF machines), could be fun.

By the way, I think it would be a lot funnier if your smithy would just straight up melt upon first use, if you use inappropriate material to build it. Bring over some DF realism to RW.
Argón  [author] 2 Aug, 2021 @ 8:49pm
I'll consider it. First I have to finish some compatibilities with both metals and plastics.
Kippy 2 Aug, 2021 @ 8:35pm
I second @Anime Bitch's request. Maybe just a patch check, if not a whole new workshop entry? Like if you have Plastics active, then it could require the materials; otherwise not.
Argón  [author] 2 Aug, 2021 @ 7:28pm
Well they're actually stuffable, so you can sort of make your own choice. (Yes, @DRT99, they are stuffable)
OptimusPrimordial 2 Aug, 2021 @ 6:55pm
I'd recommend changing the small smithy to require plastic polymer not cheap plastic. Your common plastics like PVC and Polypropylene melt under 200 degrees celsius. You could argue for a lot thicker steel to insulate the table but then we're talking about a massive weight on a cheap plastic table. Go with plastic polymer and you can justify the table being Polysulfone or another thermal plastic designed for this purpose.
DRT99 2 Aug, 2021 @ 6:44pm
Would love if these were stuffable
Anime Bitch 2 Aug, 2021 @ 6:05pm
Could we get this as a standalone mod (No Plastics.)
Argón  [author] 2 Aug, 2021 @ 5:41pm
The next add-on will add something 13% like that lol. Would be hilarious
Halituis Amaricanous 2 Aug, 2021 @ 5:39pm
hmm... can we get one that has ridiculously huge production tables. maybe like a 9x9 Cooking stove...
