please update :)
=SSD= johnvilston 13 Apr @ 1:03am
We need 1.5 update, pawns are ugly without this ;(
TheoRhetorical 8 Apr @ 10:13pm
Seems like this one is emptying my health tabs out and making them appear as empty and all clear even when pawns are grievously wounded and bleeding out rapidly aha. No error, but I've tracked the issue down to this mod
Wiggler31009 7 Apr @ 11:31am
is this coming to 1.5?
Kolljak 3 Apr @ 8:11am
@xTRACKERx read the mod page and grab the required mod. its in the top on the right of the screen...
xTRACKERx 11 Feb @ 12:11pm

Add wounds for shot out eye, stabbed eye, scarification, blown off nose, etc etc
stumbix 3 Nov, 2023 @ 2:25am
Does this decrease performance?
Hard Cat 16 Oct, 2023 @ 7:37am
It kinda erased my ghoul race, is that normal?
Velxra 2 Aug, 2023 @ 1:56pm
so how do we hide the original pawn eyes? I have had double eyes for forever when using this and want to finally fix it.
Da Evil Wizard 1 Aug, 2023 @ 8:04am
im not saying by the way, the mod author should fix my problem or whatever but i am hoping for an eventual work around
Da Evil Wizard 1 Aug, 2023 @ 8:03am
but fellas there are still some races that have a black skin tone or green and the mod does not seem to work for them, this is like my favorite mod but i dont use it cuz it doesnt seem to work for all skin tones/ races and i wanna use those new biotech mods
moki 28 Jun, 2023 @ 9:49am
If possible could you work on making separate faces with the Genes from Vanilla Expanded and Alpha Genes? If you would like help we can work on it together I can help with art
J.C Denton 20 Jun, 2023 @ 1:40pm
@Thundercraft Yeah, I (regretfully) used to be one of those people, mainly because doing so with the base mod loader is incredibly painful. You have to manually go through and disable each mod, and then re-enable them once you've found the actual culprit. With a bloated mod list, this can take a lot of time, more than your average person is probably willing or able to commit to a single game.

Given how tedious it can be with the tools provided, it's not shocking that people just assume it's the mod's fault. While third-party mod loaders do exist, I think it comes down to people just not knowing how these kinds of things work or where to look for things that make the process less arduous. I don't know if the Mods menu in RimWorld has been updated from when I last played, but it's very much not equipped for singling problem mods out in a large load order. (If it has, then it's just people being lazy, which I'm not going to excuse at all.)
Sharkfowl 10 May, 2023 @ 10:54pm
Does this add expressions to non-baseliners?
Inquisition 4 Apr, 2023 @ 11:20pm
@Thundercraft Within this group are the people who think the mod author is obligated to fix their issue because they posted a mod.
Capi  [author] 20 Mar, 2023 @ 7:04am
@KhanicalI I appreciate your input, but I'm not seeing that problem, for me the heads color matches the body color, if there is any difference it is extremely small and in any case that would be realistic, many people have slightly different skin tone in different areas of their body.

The color of my head textures at their whitest point is RGB: 247,247,247. (FYI, the whitest point in the vanilla heads is RGB 245,245,245.) The color is deliberately "almost white" and should not generate any visible color difference from the body. All textures are high resolution (512x512) and have not suffered any compression. (vanilla heads are 128x128)

You may be using a body mod with non-white or weird textures.

RGB 222,255,255 is some kind of blue and there is not a single texture in my mod that is not white, black or gray and again, they have not undergone any compression. Please check your mods, I will be happy to correct any texture as long as the issue is real.
Thundercraft 15 Mar, 2023 @ 7:23pm
I would hazard a guess that nearly half of the so-called "bug reports" for mods for RimWorld - and for a few other games I could mention - are similar: Not actually bug reports, but mod conflicts that players mistake as bugs because they don't bother to test their primary suspect all by itself to see if they can reproduce the bug without any other mods.

It does not help the situation that (a) such "bug reports" are seldom accompanied by a link to an error log or game log, (b) it can upset mod authors that they get extra work over things that aren't their fault and (c) authors are expected to miraculously make mods that are compatible with almost every other mod in existence (and every new DLC released).
Super Toaster 14 Mar, 2023 @ 9:31pm
ah shit it does work
my b i didnt even bother testing with just those 2 mods, i guess i got a conflict somewhere
Khanical 14 Mar, 2023 @ 6:53pm
most of the head shapes dont match the body skin tone, usually looking warmer, lighter or darker than usual.

I'd recommend making heads the default shape for all characters to avoid this, or change each head's default colour one manually

maybe some of them got compressed and have a base value of something like 222 255 255 on the rgb thingy, im not sure how to read whatever code rimworld uses, but im pretty sure each body and head uses a default value which is white, so.
Capi  [author] 14 Mar, 2023 @ 11:54am
Works just fine, as long as you are loading this mod after "Facial Animation" and not using my mod alongside "Vanilla Textures Expanded - Facial Animation" it should be fine.
Super Toaster 14 Mar, 2023 @ 2:19am
yeah it's broken, the mod this is dependent on seems to override it with its fugly ass anime look
Haku 10 Jan, 2023 @ 12:51pm
Donno this Mod doesnt work for me. Tried many times with Facial Animations and just nope.
Dizzy Ioeuy 30 Dec, 2022 @ 2:17am
If you like this mod but would also like the eye colors to vary from blue, to green, brown and black (even rare violet), I made add-on mod:

https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2565622912

Depends on Capi's mod here- is just an add-on, as I don't touch the animation and other cool textures he's done.
Jet 20 Dec, 2022 @ 1:46am
ooo kenshi very nice. i thought i clicked on the wrong notif section lol
Da Evil Wizard 19 Dec, 2022 @ 11:40pm
anyone have suggestions for using xeno race mods like scorchlanders w this? We need a mod that makes it so it doesnt target them.
Thundercraft 16 Dec, 2022 @ 3:22am
Ah, now I see at least one big difference. "Vanilla Face - Facial Animation" only has low resolution textures and Mouths have been removed.
Thundercraft 16 Dec, 2022 @ 3:17am
Can someone point out the differences between this mod and "Vanilla Textures Expanded - [NL] Facial Animation" and "Vanilla Face - Facial Animation". As far as I can tell, all three are retexture mods for "[NL] Facial Animation" that seem to more or less try to mimic the old art style of "Facial Stuff". All three have been updated for 1.4. And all three look very, very similar to me. Or are my eyes going bad...?
Bops ^_^ 9 Dec, 2022 @ 11:51pm
any 1.4 updates coming? nice mod !
GR4V3 MIST4K3 9 Dec, 2022 @ 8:47am
Any support for Biotech traits coming like heavy jaw, thick brow and such?
K 5 Dec, 2022 @ 3:06am
@Jenkem

Thank you so much, been looking for something like this for a while
Jenkem 30 Nov, 2022 @ 5:37pm
This just in: new submod patch came out that adds eye color for pawns, tying them to genes!
