Given how tedious it can be with the tools provided, it's not shocking that people just assume it's the mod's fault. While third-party mod loaders do exist, I think it comes down to people just not knowing how these kinds of things work or where to look for things that make the process less arduous. I don't know if the Mods menu in RimWorld has been updated from when I last played, but it's very much not equipped for singling problem mods out in a large load order. (If it has, then it's just people being lazy, which I'm not going to excuse at all.)
The color of my head textures at their whitest point is RGB: 247,247,247. (FYI, the whitest point in the vanilla heads is RGB 245,245,245.) The color is deliberately "almost white" and should not generate any visible color difference from the body. All textures are high resolution (512x512) and have not suffered any compression. (vanilla heads are 128x128)
You may be using a body mod with non-white or weird textures.
RGB 222,255,255 is some kind of blue and there is not a single texture in my mod that is not white, black or gray and again, they have not undergone any compression. Please check your mods, I will be happy to correct any texture as long as the issue is real.
It does not help the situation that (a) such "bug reports" are seldom accompanied by a link to an error log or game log, (b) it can upset mod authors that they get extra work over things that aren't their fault and (c) authors are expected to miraculously make mods that are compatible with almost every other mod in existence (and every new DLC released).
my b i didnt even bother testing with just those 2 mods, i guess i got a conflict somewhere
I'd recommend making heads the default shape for all characters to avoid this, or change each head's default colour one manually
maybe some of them got compressed and have a base value of something like 222 255 255 on the rgb thingy, im not sure how to read whatever code rimworld uses, but im pretty sure each body and head uses a default value which is white, so.

Depends on Capi's mod here- is just an add-on, as I don't touch the animation and other cool textures he's done.
Thank you so much, been looking for something like this for a while
