No vanilla files are changed in this mod and it is therefore not likely to break when the game is updated, unless they remove/rename existing functions.

This depends on your selections for the invited character. The more specific you filters, the longer the search for a person requires. After the search for a person fitting your requirements is resolved (found or not found) then a new invitation request can be started.
Quick question: What is the cooldown period (if any) before the decision becomes available again after you take it?
I added a button to select the social standing of an invited character from random, lowborn or noble.
Is something not working for you? I tested it right now with different character settings and it still works. The mod did not reference the traits directly by name, but by character creation template, which was not changed.
