Yeah, while there's fun in broken runs, I like having some feeling of challenge with boss fights. I might give this a try sometime, though not yet.

Will this have modded compatibility? Like Fiend Folio, that one adds plenty of bosses.

You can go to he mods folder > resources-dlc3 and edit the .xml file. Somewhere in the list are blastocyst and teratoma and you can change the "shieldStrength" to 0. Don't forget to do that with all their children they spawn too

Looking at it seems to use different entities, so my best bet would be that it doesn't. I doubt it would cause any issues though.

-Like Teratoma, Blastocyst takes too long to kill too. Way too long...

-Rotgut is very difficult to dodge in their last phase, and the armor gives them too much endurance. A small nerf would be appreciated.

-Triachnid and daddy long legs are more annoying than anything to take out than anything else since they have long invulnerability periods.

-Satan has become one of the hardest bosses in the game due to the increased armor; this is fine, but it makes them way harder than Isaac since they have 2 phases.

-The Death and Conquest horsemen, also being a common enemy late in the game, are very annoying to deal with now that he has extra armor.

Hey, some feedback after playing the mod for a while. I like it a lot overall; however, there are some bosses that feel like they are just too much:

-Loki is very annoying to kill since he is a recurrent enemy in a lot of rooms. The extra armor is too notable and makes the fight drag on for too long.

-In Greed mode, Sister Vis is super annoying since they are very common in Sheol, and it takes very long to kill. If 4 of them spawn during the extra wave, it is pretty much game over. It takes too long to take one of them out.

-Teratoma is very difficult to take out for some reason. The added armor makes them extremely resilient for some reason and it just does not feel very good to take them out.

I don't think so. That mod is coded in lua and my knowledge on lua is very limited.

I lowered Blastocyst armor by half. I still sincerely think it should have SOME amount of armor, 8 should be a good enough value.

I agree with Blastocyst, he's the only boss where the armor value is super apparent as he takes a million years to kill.

I don't think Blastocyst should have armor as it makes it one of the beefiest bosses in the Boss Rush, plus you can find it in rooms before the Womb anyways

Can you update this for the latest update? I'm pretty sure entities2.xml changed with Clutch so this mod might mess some stuff up with the replacement.

Easy way to test if it's working is to teleport to the ??? boss fight, debug 4 and g soy milk, and see if you can instantly murderize blue baby or not.

I'm not sure. The only file this mod changes is entities2.xml, but plenty of mods change it (like it EID) yet they still work with this mod. My modlist has over 10 instances of entities2.xml, but it still works for me. I'd say you should just try it out and see how it goes.

And updated. Added Mother, Dogma, the Ultra Horsemen and Beast, and tweaked Teratoma and Blastocyst to have less armor, now has 2/3 of the amount of armor it used to have.

I think the boss armor of Teratoma and Blastocyst should be lowered a bit. Its nice that you dont oneshot them with a simple Brimstone beam but even with a solid build they sometimes take minutes to fight. You also have to keep in mind that they can regularly spawn in the Womb

If it was there at any point in time, then please, do add it back in.
I sincerely feel like even if you don't one-shot those, they just are extremely underwhelming for what they are supposed to be (endgame bosses, that can't even compare to Delirium, or even Hush) because of how short their fights go every time.
These bosses really deserve more than they got.

This mod used to do that, but I decided on removing it and making it only for the bosses that I truly felt I had no idea even did. Dogma, Beast and Mother don't get instashot on 90% of my runs, so I decided to omit them, they still die fast sometimes, but it's not that often. Maybe I should add it back like you mentioned.

Sorry to disturb you, pal, but are there any plans of adding armour for the endgame bosses, like Mother, Dogma and the entirety of the Beast fight (especially Dogma)?
I honestly find those bosses extremely underwhelming because of how quick they die.
Most of the time, I don't even get to see half of the attacks that they have.
