For testing I wanted to temporarily deactivate your mod BUT I am unable to do so. Although it is unchecked it still is fully functional in the game and still displays the speed indicators. Unfortunately I don't see also it in the addon options. After trying to uninstall it (in-game and via steam), it still is there, laughing at me and my poor efforts. I did not change any parameters, no special folder etc. Help!

@wolfsong that is not possible because of where the mod script is executed. You are experiencing a placebo or some mod incompatibility

I love the mod. Its a wonderful idea. However I notice that when SOG AI initializes that it quits working.

I had to stop using this because it seemed to malfunction when a lot of stuff was going on, even putting up with its other quirks like giving you more speed than your low stamina should afford. Good luck with your planned improvements.

Would it be possible to set max values for the slowest and fastest adjustment speeds? The lower speed of 30% is great but it would be useful to be able to cap the top speed to say 130%.

Another question is whether or not it would be possible, or have any practical value to allow speed adjustment in prone? I'm wondering if it would aid stealth or perhaps make finer movements in prone somewhat easier.

We love the mod though, a fantastic job that is a cornerstone of our modlist for jungle patrolling, thank you for making it :)

You might find a way to exit walking at speeds other than 100% by mimicking the Animate mod by ASmallDinosaur https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2819732932

Though, somebody reported to me that another player spotted them essentially running in place when using the Animate mod's walking speed.

If you could get the benefit of changing in and out of walking at speeds other than 100% and not have the glitch mentioned in the Animate mod, that would be amazing.

Somehow it seems that sometimes I get locked in combat pace and toggling between it and normal running isn't possible anymore.

@ranman That's because you don't know that you can walk in vanilla arma. What you are referring to as "walking" is a combat pace run. Press W+S at the same time to walk.

This mod is great, but the Walking speed being set to 100 is faster than the faster walk speeds. Would also love if this mod also changed your speed when walking with your weapon lowered.

@stevethehero Sadly no, I'd love to have a tactical reload but Reload Animations are called gestures and afaik there is no way to control their speed. Additionally, reload speed is is hardcoded into the weapon config, so even if you sped up the animation, you'd still have to wait for the weapon to be ready to fire.

I tried it out again after a while and noticed that you can travel quite fast at 170% speed and regenerate stamina at the same time.
Maybe for a later version the idea to make the speed of regeneration dependent on the speed of walking. (The slower you walk, the faster you should regenerate). If that is possible.
I put the reset additionally this time on the button I use to switch running and walking. This is how it works best for me.

This mod may conflict with Krausk's Weight System V4.2 Reuploaded. When I try to use these two mods together, cannot be set to the desired speed with mouse wheel.

For ease of use, it would make sense to that the menu name is: "Adjustable Walking Speed" like the mod is called, rather than "Rad's Adjustable Walking Speed". Just a thought.

You go to the options menu for arma, go to controls and when a window pops up, with CBA installed there will be a button in the bottom right saying "Configure Addons". Once you enter that, find AWS in the dropdown menu and then you can change stuff.

@Pagan Yes, the mod doesn't work for remote controlled units as the event handler is attached to the player object.

Even if I'm completely exhausted, tapping shift allows me to do a moderate jog again.

Also, using the scroll wheel, I can also push faster than a normal walk even if exhausted. Seems like if you're out of stamina you should be limited to 100% walk speed.

If this cannot be fixed, can we at least have a way to limit max 'adjustable walk speed' to 100% only?

Well interestingly, I put both a pilot with a pistol and a soldier with a rifle, and the pilot did not respond. I thought maybe this was intended to not interfere with airplane controls. I also flew as the soldier, and the controls were not affected. Just FYI. All is good.

@SeaCow No, but I assume that as a Pilot you don't have any weapon equipped. The mod is limited to animations with a rifle/pistol in hand. The mod's due for a rework, I just dont have the time right now.

Oh damn, it would be so insane if ArmA 3 removed the limitations, allowing this mod to smoothly switch from a snail-paced walk to jog or even full on sprint...

Hmmm... I wonder if the ACE3 mod team could help you to do exactly that (because of the way that the ACE advanced fatigue works), but I bet that it would take a LOT of effort to get it working

No, I dont think youre doing anything wrong. I just don't know why the pbo wont get signed properly. Ill have to investigate more when i have the time.

Thanks for the reply Rad. I've tried doing so, creating my own keys and sign but to no avail. I get an error that shows, "/!Workshop/Adjustable Walking Speed/addons/walkspeedmod.pbo are not signed by a key accepted by this server"

I've made sure the keys and sign match on my client and server, but no success. Am I doing that incorrectly?
