It's not meant for RE2. I'll have a drill-less version for RE2 in a bit. IIRC, it's the drills. Different IDs in RE2.

Bad news. This BP is showing up in red in the new reforged alpha, with a forbidden block. I have not diagnosed it yet in creative mode.

Honestly, this is the best starting SV around.

This lil boat saved my ass, while I was battered and bruised with half it's hull blown off flying on 11 wing I managed to finish my first trek into space through the default story and make it to landing in one piece.

I usually deconstruct my ships after I don't need them anymore but not this lil one gets to retire on my hangar!

Great design, perfect size for drilling and not getting stuck. Can take more drills without any penalties. My absolute go to starter SV! Great work.

Seriously one of the most useful early game SV's I've ever seen! I almost always keep one built in my factory just for emergencies! My favorite is to dig a tunnel under an unshielded Zirax POI with one of these bad boi's and just blow through their basement! So skunky :)

@Stan2112 thanks you have resolved the problem. My Empyreon updated to 1.6 but I didn't know I had to update the Reforged Mod to 1.6 also.

I found this starter mining ship to be indispensable and impossible to replace. It doesn't get stuck in mineshafts and can rotate on a dime. I started a new survival game and have been stockpiling resources and biofuel and this will be the first thing I build when I reach level 7. Then scan the planet for promethium and build a small Polaris Pod A base near the promethium and near water if possible. Then I will build 1 or 2 hydroponics pods and I am ready to mine more planets.

@Hekmatyar I'm not seeing any issues spawning it in a new Reforged SP game or in my Reforged Creative save. Is your game up-to-date? You could try un/resubbing the blueprint.

This doesn't work anymore, in reforged or vanilla Empyrion. "Contains forbidden block."

Awesome little start miner, I couple this with the reforged Hatapo. Together they are a very cheap early game powerhouse that will let you get a ton of resources very fast and be off in your CV in no time.

10/10, this thing ZOOMS.

Mostly my hesitation had been that it "required" obsolete 1.4 so I'll definitely give it a go. :D

@Sledgewyck @Valcare I've spawned this in both RE Creative and a new SP RE game with 0 issues. Try unsubbing/resubbing and start a new SP game.

@Mobus It's just one more thing that Reforged gets right and the base game should be including.

Makes sense to put these drills on an SV. I tried it on a HV and could never tilt enough to dig down, plus I'd have no way to get out.

Very slick, with good underground manoeuvrability (amazing how many drill SV's forget about reverse thruster levels). Pretty much obsoletes any need for a starter HV.

@grieferbastard TY, that's exactly why I created it.

@sn4265 TY. My preferred play is to gather all the thrusters and other valuables on the starter planet and moons and raid the available POIs. Throw everything in the factory and that has always gotten me enough materials for a warp-capable CV, even on my recent Rogue Crashed Transport starter which is where the design for this started.

Outstanding little SV. Where has this been all my Empyrion lives??? This little thing is a dream. Now I just need a big brother to this with a warp drive to be able to gather non-starter planet things like Neo and Titanium.

I saw this pop up on Reddit and had just started a new playthrough with the dead planet start. I liked the look of it and it seemed super cheap to build so I grabbed it -

Just got to one of the desert planets and am starting to get things going and this little guy has been phenomenal! Sleek, efficient, looks good, works great, everything conveniently placed. Holds a small resource node content and, maneuvers decently well with a full load, just absolutely love it.

Has immediately become my new go-to starter!
