Hey Aky, it's because DSO 1 isn't really up to date, I suggest using DSO 2 which is newer and has a Gdrive available too iirc

I subscribed yesterday. I was looking in the description to see the difference then I realized it said no VCOM. Then I wondered if this one said it to, and it did.

guys this scenario is dead and hasn't been updated since. Was expecting a DSO 2.0 but that was over a year ago since last transmission. Best to find another scenario to suffice or make your own one.

Helicopters just fly up and keep going up, not using VCOM.

Do you NEED apex for this to work? i've been trying to load into the scenario there wont be any players in the select players screen for me to even load in. i have the other mod dependencies loaded so i am clueless...

But yeah these versions got fuck up by recent updates iirc, I rly hope i can release an updated version this month

Yeah the creator i think has abandoned the project. Its sad but i guess its the way it is.

this is broke the arsenal won't appear or work on this mission. I used to be able to play this and it was fun but I have tried everything to fix this problem and cannot. He hasn't updated it since august and doesn't reply to anyone. Avoid this mod.

Any idea why no player slots show up on LAN server playing SP?

These missions are tight. The use of simplex makes the whole thing smooth af. Some FPS issues round the main base but tbf there is alot going on there. One thing is I can't get the Sling load to work correctly. The ropes snap or the vehicle being lifted just glitches & gets stuck in the air.
Other than that these DSO missions are really solid & well executed. Top notch!

yeah a cam lao nam mission would be great. I've never seen any mission as immersive as this, especially with supports (helicopters and CAS)

For some reason when I'm loading it it tells me that there are some things that do not exist anymore, then it will kick me back to the scenario menu, however I have all of the required mods downloaded. Does anyone have any suggestions to fix this issue?

Finally got to mess around with this mission this weekend. Good stuff, I'm not crazy about ACE, but I made some adjustments. I did like the simplex addition, although given the size of Lythium and the distances missions occur from base, I would have liked to have seen some 155mm arty and maybe some ground transport (although dicey pathing on this map I know :) ). All in all, really nice job, thanks for sharing out to the community.

why not just put it playable like a normal scenario instead to host a server or made a scenario version for only sp? Dont take me wrong its awesome i spend all my day playing it.

Probably one of my favourite missions to play as of right now. Can play this for hours and not be bored. Perfect with mods (RHS, LAMBS, etc). Hope for more mission updates and new maps in future. Definitely a solid 10/10 for me.

Does anyone else have a problem with the Chinook exploding upon loading into the game? Even tried loading in with only the dependancies and it still blew up. I can still use the blackhawk for transport but it would be nice to have the chinook for big squads

Hey man, so my buddy and i played it together tonight and loved it. However the A10 support doesnt work. I am able to call it in, it acknowledges it, but no effects happen and 0 ordnance is released. Any fixes?
