so we got an issue here. I stacked 6 of the 50 Meters on top of each other for my massive elevator shaft (around 250 meters). It goes up fine, but they all explode when you lower it.

Oh saver, I hope it would be strong enough so that I salvage the whole capital ship scrap with the new magnetic tools. I do love the feeling to throw the whole ship to my grinder bed:steamhappy:

small grid variants are planned. I recently updated Ganymede Conveyors and added 2 new blocks. I plan on enhancing all my mods over time...
Also Stay tuned... Ganymede Thrusters are in development.. stay tuned..

I'm having the same problem with the conveyor pistons not transporting. Also it would be neat to get that ghostly blue between the disks of the conveyor, kind of like on your conveyors.

Been using these and the whole awesome Ganymede set for a fair while now, but recently (since warfare update) i've found them to no longer be robust. Example [But I witnessed this in at least 5 or 6 completely unique cases before I had to give up and switch back to normal pistons on all my builds]: I used these on a land base recently as a fixed extendable drill setup - simple straight line drilling with 3 pistons - the thing just fell apart randomly whilst trying to do some basic drilling (all the heads of the pistons fell off and a few pistons blew up).

Rebuilt it a couple of times with same consistently result. Always using inertia tensors on of course. Only way I could get some semblance of robustness was to have 2 lines of pistons merged together onto the drill head.

Would love it if we could get these reliable again, as they are much better looking than the default and the added range on them alongside the shorter unextended length are a god send for making many types of ship!

@Sargonnas, hello once again!
I noticed that your mod doesn't still benefit from the reworked collision boxes optimized by Keen.
Surrounding the piston with armor blocks makes my ship jitter like the old keen piston did before the update. I do not know if the issue is in the main block piston or in the piston part.

Can you do something about that? If u cannot I'll have to rework my folding solar panel system with the regular piston (but I may barf while doing it). Ty once again for your awesome work!

KeopsKM Been requesting this one for a while. I dont think people can do it. Other wise they just do it.
Every magnetic mod in this game is just invisible texture.

Be warned if you use these. Adding multiple in a row can make them spaz out and break themselves or the things they are attached to. The physics engine does not play nice with these while extended

Wygos, I think you would have a much better impact by requesting that specific change in a polite way. The fact that you are angry for the AMAZING looking blocks not working as you want, just shows your lack of critical thinking and spending 30 seconds of testing before diving into half day building....

Sargonnas, I just discovered few of your mods and I´m very impressed. Already thinking of creating a whole new safe. o/ Keep up!

Its not mag lev its invisible piston. It still has collision box like regular piston.
here i thought i can finally finish my Galaxy One with mag lev rotating Light fold engine. Spend half day building it. BAM IN NOT MAG LEV its just piston reskin.

Hey I just started using this mod, I've got a conveyor magpiston hooked up to a converyor junction and a connector on a ship, but the maglev piston doesn't work, it won't respond to any commands to increase it's length, change it's minimum or maximum length, etc. Just no response whatsoever. I've check that it's both powered and fully built too. Is this mod broken since the last update?

Even though I just now found this mod, I like what Laci mentioned (and of course Kory). I've always appreciated mod authors adding new content to games like this, and with such a project, there seems little reason to not keep graphical preferences around. :) Enjoy your landing gear already. Hope to keep enjoying more! They're quality additions to my games.

I just want to react to Kory's suggestion. Please do not add any kind of visible effect between the top part and the piston base. Or please create a version, where nothing is visible between the two point, neither the small little rings.

So many SE player have waited for years to an opportunity to create levitative ship parts again. Since KSH "fixed" a "bug" which caused we could use wheel suspension and rotor heads for create a far attach in 2016.

For example here is one of my project from 2016, which has been unfinished since.

Used this to rig up a special overhead connector for a friend's rover. It works magnificently without taking up so much space! It's glorious!

Amazing! mod size is large for servers, people already in stress to download few GB.

I agree with Koiry, if it had a beam effect it would fit perfect with any syfy decor. Can't wait to try this MagLev out.
