(In 1.4) My pawns are refusing to do research on T2 of the Archotechnology, just after I finished T1. Anyone have any ideas? I've still got the archotech decrypter thingy.

@Ramirez You'll want to go to line 484 which should look like this <li Class="OperationAdd"> edit it to look like this <!-- li Class="OperationAdd"> then go down to line 527 which should look like this </li> and add two minuses so it looks like this </li--> that comments out that whole line so it doesn't break semi-random research forked and/or other things. Ps if you are new to coding something simple like notepad++ can show line count.

I can't get my pawns to research past Tier 1, I have the archotech research assistant but when tier 2 is selected they refuse to research at any bench.

I am using Vanilla furniture Expanded but not sure what you mean by "then line 484 to 527 as VFE:S has deleted the pylon form their side." - should I try deleting those lines???

@Alistair Please don't do this, if you are running RIMMSQOL it saves recipes into a dictionary and if it loads it and sees the missing recipe it will cause your whole mod list to break on load.

If you /do/ have RIMMSQOL and this mod simply go into the QOL mod and change the recipe to nothing and remove it from the bench.

For anyone using this mod with VFE:S, Go to where your steam is steamapps\workshop\content\294100\2391102796\1.4\Patches the Crafting.xml then line 484 to 527 as VFE:S has deleted the pylon form their side.

I got it to work thanks! I will look up rimpy tomorrow. Hope you guys can get the other stuff back up. I miss summoning meks. xD I am trying so hard to get enough for the walls. I basically beat my game already and I wanna wipe the map of bandits. Thank you again!

@Xalkyr Hopefully you're using rimpy, if you're not, you really should be. If you are, just right click this mod in rimpy, open folder, then follow what Chrispy said.

If you're not using rimpy, it'll be;

Local Disk (C:) > Program Files (x86) > Steam > steamapps > workshop > content > 294100 > 2391102796 and now just follow what Chrispy said.

I was sad to see my buildings/artifacts gone. But I see you guys are working on things. This is an epic mod with a lot of love, and I would hate to see it die. Good on you guys! :steamhappy:

I like that a new version with new ideas for this is being worked on. But i love that it sounds like someone is going to step up and fix this version. its great as is and I for one am not finished with it.

Random fix for people who are trying:
In \2391102796\1.4\Patches\VE Furniture Expanded.xml

Change
Class="AOMorefurniture.CompProperties_BinClean" to
Class="VanillaFurnitureEC.CompProperties_BinClean"

Make a local copy, etc, etc.

But if anyone wants to do something with this version then they can do whatever they want with it and its contents, I'm fine with it. Anything found in my mods can be used in other mods, though it's always nice when someone asks first :p

Or may I ask you to do such a fork/update? If you could tell me how much that would be for your working time? By the way, to the people using these mods - if you are interested we could split/chip the price (and maybe afford more of MrKociak's or other expert's work time).
