Ah yes, carbon issue.
I'll have to make a new version to fix it.
It requires replacing the old terrain deco system with the new one, which I have already done in other scenarios so I can just copy that work over to a new no-spiders scenario.
I will update the description with a link to the new version when I submit it.

Softlocks progression because you cant get carbon to make a crafting station to make more carbon

No Spiders v1.4 has been fixed for 1.8.8

Thanks for the mod, but may I poke you about the fact that if this is to serve people suffering from arachnophobia, putting spiders in the thumbnail is prolly not ideal.

I guess that I will play chapter 5 again tomorrow to make sure which room has spider spawner in the POI “derelict ship”. And test my little blueprint, a little floating turret.

There are 107(or 102?) NPC spawner on this POI. (It’s one of my base now.)
I believe that there is/are only 1~3 NPC NPC spawner which will spawn spider on the POI.

I don’t understand. Can’t you just change several(about 4) POIs in story mission in vanilla solo game ?
I believe that there are only 4 POI in story mission have spider spawner.

I can probably do it, but it will take time. Try to find all of the structures that you want modified and return to me a list of them and I will see if I can create a new extended version. I've always wanted to do the pois too, but it is a lot of extra work.

You have to use the internal GM commands through the console to be able to interact with it and you might have to save a blueprint and load it in single player creative and modify it that way, then insert the modified blueprint into the poi directory of the scenario and either recreate the world it is used on, or start a new save.
I am not sure if you can do it in a live game session or not.

If I know where the POI is and where these monster will spawn,
is there any way to find out that NPC spawner from control panel.

Nope, only the spiders in the open environment.
To remove the spiders in the pois, I would have to modify every poi with spiders in them and include the modified versions in the scenario.
That would be a lot of work and the best way to achieve it would be to form an extensive list of every poi that pose such problems. If anyone is willing to make such a list, I might consider doing the work, but as of yet I have never had such a request. The easier alternative is to remove the problem pois, but that would break the story missions.
