Water mod changed default buoyancy value for some reason. I hope it's getting fixed.

Are you using default buoyancy?
Use /wreset command.

This stays on the surface if inertial dampeners are turned on. Thrusters are used for diving.
No need to change buoyancy.

red october was a variant of the typhoon. so not sure if it would make sense to make it having the typhoon already
