The other three launchers (EMP, grenade, tox bomb) all sort into the grenade sub-category, Just not the incendiary. Perhaps the these projectiles aren’t considered to explode like the others…

@krzarb It just checks if they are throwable and explodes to class them as grenades. The launcher is not throwable I guess. What other launchers are in this category?

Hi, and thanks for this awesome mod. Small suggestion/request, would it be possible to include the incendiary launcher in the grenade sub-category? Every other grenade and launcher will move there except for this one.

Adding onto @Thels comment; I'd LOVE to see an option where it follows the vanilla logic (Melee/Persona/Ranged) but inside each of THOSE have a tech-level sub-category, preferably if the tech-levels can be turned on/off for a specific tech-level as I'd mainly want all the medieval weapons in their own category while leaving the others as-is.

So you'd have:
+Melee weapons
-[Medieval]
--> Medieval MELEE weapons here.
Rest of the weapons.

+Ranged weapons
-[Medieval]
--> Medieval RANGED weapons here.
Rest of the weapons.

Would it be possible to disable the primary sorting category completely, and only sort by Grenades/Persona/Ranged/Melee?

I would actually like to sort by ranged, melee, grenade, and persona first, and then tech level and/or mod second/third. Would you be willing to add this?

Hello! Is it possible to use this to sort weapons between 1 Handed and 2 Handed? I am using CE. I can't seem to find a way to add the "Usable with Shields" tag as a filter option to separate them. Ideally looking for a simple(ish) sorting like Weapons > Ranged / Melee > 1H / 2H sorting option. Is the ability already there, or do I have to tweak the config/settings a bit for this? Thanks!

And I report: I using mods "Weapon Sorter" and" and "Mod Error Checker", and the checker cautioned me that "Weapon Sorter" has some missing method exception.

My assumption for both of these is that the bills doesn't have the sub categories that weapon sorter provides.

Unfortunately there's an incompatibility with human resources.
I'll also inform the creator of Human resources.
when these two mods are both active, training dummies and target stands doesn't allow any weapons to be used. I have two guesses.
1) Human Resources doesn't impliment the weapon category correctly.
2) Weapon sorter changes things behind the scenes, but doesn't have a patch for HR.

With Combat Extended, this mod mixes all the weapons together with the ammo of the same tech level, is there any chance we could get a compatibility option to not do that?

@All Sorting by two categories should now work again. Sorry for the wait, it was a tricky one. It was the added search in 1.3 that broke it.

Having an odd menu issue since the 1.3 update with menus where they cut off and dont scroll down more or remove options as I click things.

I doubt its this mod causing the issue but I have to remove several mods in an attempt to fix this.
just thought id give a heads up about this menu issue,

Although it technically "works" with CE, it doesn't appear to actually sort CE ammunitions into their own category, making this mod incredibly cumbersome for CE users...

It does not appear to list ammunition under the "Grenades" category as another user incorrectly pointed out, but rather sits at the top of every list under weapons on account of being at the top alphabetically.

Any chance we could get proper CE integration, so that it either sorts ammunition into their own category or, alternatively, throws them into the "Grenades" category?

A little bit but with this mod, weapons have just ''ranged'' or ''melee'' no tech categories, and apparels havn't layers sorting so if I click on ''apparel'' I see my hundreds apparels and it's not helping, I would like to see tribal-->boots -->pants -->top --> etc>. industrial-->boots -->pants -->top --> etc>. exactly what we see with your mods, in fact it should succeed in extending your mod to '' bills ''

I don't know how to say that clearly in english but the fact is with many mods it's very complicated to find what we want to create in a workbench :

If we could have a sorting by technologies and layers just same like this mod but for benches in bills it would be perfect !

Ah, no (I think?). I'm basically talking about stuff like the hammer from Vanilla Weapons Expanded, that's basically a club that gives construction boni, as well. I think most mods with tools work like that, unless they implement their own tool system.
