@Luninhafreya Is your unsleeping pawn alone in the caravan? From what I've seen, no pawn (human or animal) in the caravan can have a sleep need if you want them to work through the night.
Luninhafreya 30 Oct @ 8:05am
@Squal I used both mods together and it seems to be working just fine
----
Also, there seems to be either a bug, but my unsleeping pawn can't work at night. Either because I'm using a vehicle or it is something else, there should be an option to keep working and not rest at all.
Squaul 17 Oct @ 7:45pm
Dumb question but is it compatible with rim war ?
WDLKD 2 Oct @ 8:12am
how does this work with VE:Classical? Any issues?
Mlie  [author] 26 Sep @ 10:07pm
@Aleon777 You need to finish the research
Aleon777 26 Sep @ 6:22pm
How do I build better roads? I only see Dirt and Dirt+ when constructing a road
Pike 22 Sep @ 9:01am
ok thx
Mlie  [author] 22 Sep @ 7:23am
@Pike You would have to ask on the Vehicle mod-page about that
Pike 22 Sep @ 6:02am
Hello, I would like to ask, the road built on water cannot be passed by vehicles and can only be passed on foot. Is it designed like this?
komang78 16 Sep @ 2:31pm
Thanks, @Lurmey. I will check it out!
crashfly 15 Sep @ 10:19am
it has been reported before. so probably yes.
Lurmey 15 Sep @ 9:58am
Hey Mlie, I'm not sure if this is caused by some kind of weird conflict but I noticed my caravans are considered resting when they're building a road, so their sleep is constantly topped off at 100% meaning they can continue building through the night without actually stopping to sleep like normal. Is that a known issue?
Lurmey 15 Sep @ 9:57am
@komang78; A bit late to this but if you use the mod WorldEdit you can add roads directly to the world with dev mode, no caravan required. This mod is more for doing it a legitimate in-game sort of way.
Winter 7 Sep @ 8:23pm
@Spacetimeandcat Construction won't be available if the caravan is moving, or if it's nighttime.
Spacetimeandcat 7 Sep @ 6:05am
not sure what I did but it worked. so all good.
Spacetimeandcat 7 Sep @ 5:53am
It just keeps saying 'cant build construction sight at this time' I have resources, skilled pawns, and am on a flat tile, temperate forest, spring. And have researched the first road building thing. what could I be doing wrong?
komang78 29 Aug @ 11:48pm
@Winter thanks for the tip! I'll give it a try. I love what this mod offers. It's just...sometimes I want it to happen much (much) faster than what is possible during game play!
Winter 29 Aug @ 5:01pm
@komang78 I'm not aware of a way to do that, but if you turn on god mode, caravans will complete roads instantly, so building will only cost the travel time to get to the build sites.
komang78 29 Aug @ 3:48am
I'm curious... is there a way to build roads on the world map in dev mode (not during game play)?
Mlie  [author] 24 Aug @ 12:57am
@Pasiego How to do it is in the description
Pasiego 24 Aug @ 12:52am
Any guide for this? No idea how to make it
kmcl11 20 Aug @ 2:05am
thank you for all the mods you handle!!!
Mlie  [author] 19 Aug @ 10:16pm
@kmcl11 Its on the (rather long) todo-list
kmcl11 19 Aug @ 8:24pm
This is an interesting mod :) what are the odds of a patch so that i can send constructoids with my caravan to help with the work load?
PterribleDactylus 19 Aug @ 9:37am
I have a mod installed that lets me settle on impassible mountain tiles, would i still be able to form a caravan and build either of the advanced road types from my colony? Or would I have to pass through a mountain instead of starting at one?
Mlie  [author] 28 Jul @ 3:17pm
@NuanKi Please see the Reporting Issues section described above
[YAC] Thunderstorm 15 Jul @ 10:51am
Also just discovered that I can build over impassable terrain. However, it takes a map regeneration aka reload for those tiles to become travelable. No biggie, just an FYI in case there's an easy fix.
LavenderSnoots 10 Jul @ 1:37pm
I did not see that you can build advanced roads through impassible until recently. I have been doing that and my game has opened up so much. Thank you for making sure to include a way to do this! :steamthis:
Raging_Flames 9 Jul @ 4:15pm
I'm a clown, you have to build it one tile at a time. You can't just click where you want it to go.
Raging_Flames 9 Jul @ 3:59pm
Does anyone know if this mod works? I brought an AISR2G with my caravan to make a stone road and nothing I do works. I've tried standing on a road and building to a location, standing next to a road and building to a location. Standing in the middle of no where and building to a location. Building to roads/plains/cities. I've tried right clicking and left clicking, nothing works.
wpmaura 8 Jul @ 3:27am
yep just realized that stone needs steel I am dumb
Winter 6 Jul @ 7:36pm
@Winter Ah, just tested, and the basic ISR2G only produces wood and stone. You'll need to bring steel along for a stone road, or research and produce the AISR2G.
wpmaura 6 Jul @ 12:25pm
@winter yep its in the caravan and It says I run out of resources.
Winter 4 Jul @ 12:17pm
@wpmaura Did you research ISR2G, construct one at the machining table, and include it in the caravan?
wpmaura 4 Jul @ 5:08am
I cant seem to get the ISR thing working trying to buil a stone road over a dirt and says no resources its turned on in the mod settings
✒Average Player 26 Jun @ 10:08am
@Winter Thanks, You saved me alot of micro, already doing that enough lol
Winter 25 Jun @ 9:34pm
@✒Narrator After you click Construct, you should be able to left-click as many road segments as you like, until you right-click to stop picking spots. Each new segment must be adjacent to the previous spot you selected.
✒Average Player 25 Jun @ 4:42pm
Stupid question for the comments, How do I que up more than just one spot at a time for road building? I've been just inch worming my roads, trying to figure it out...
Player 16 Jun @ 12:45pm
Hey there, love the mod, and it's working great. I just wanted to ask, when calling for allies to help construct the road, how are their contributions calculated? I've had allies come and help for 3600 work at 25 work/s at the highest and for only 600 work at 38 work/s at the lowest. Since I am aiming to connect the entire continent with glitterworld roads, I need all the help I can get, and was wondering if there was anything I could do to keep having my allies contribute large amounts of work for the constructions rather than small but faster amounts. Cheers
Teneombre 2 Jun @ 8:17am
For those who have the 0 unable to build a road" message, you need your caravan to have the rest actually active, even if the caravan is not moving.
Pings 28 May @ 11:08am
is there a way to set it so i can build roads other than glitterworld roads on ocea tiles?
Macky 21 May @ 11:29pm
same issue as @Dragonknight951, get a load of issues with ReGrowth's world gen. I think I'll install it after I generate my world and see if that helps.
Pet Mudstone 19 May @ 12:52pm
This is a handy mod, but I have a request. I feel it should be possible while using the ISRG to use supplies from your caravan to reduce the workspeed penalty caused by using it.

For instance I can more easily acquire large amounts of chemfuel and steel than stone blocks and it would be nice to actually be able to use that chemfuel and steel even while using the ISRG to compensate for stone block logistics.
Amoc 16 May @ 8:14pm
I love this..but its useless on very cold biome :(
KPLoopy 16 May @ 8:09pm
Can the ability to build through impassable mountains be added for glittertech roads?
Mlie  [author] 12 May @ 8:09am
@Phil McRacken If you find your mod conflict, please report back to help others
Phil McRacken 12 May @ 6:11am
I cant build roads. Got to construction menu, dirt road, build road to here, menu closes and nothing happens, error log empty. Oh well, it was a nice idea. Sounds like other people cant get the mod to work either.
Mlie  [author] 24 Apr @ 2:36pm
@Fenris That is from the original description
Fenris 24 Apr @ 2:19pm
I was trying to go to your "Please test and report any bugs here" but it doesn't seem to be a hyperlink for me. It's the same way even on web browser. I'm not sure if that's the case for everyone but I figured i'd let you know
