@Van the Wanderer The songs included is from the mod mentioned in the description above. You will have to ask them where the songs are from
Van the Wanderer 7 okt om 1:15
probably has already been asked but does anyone have a list of all the songs that can be played? there is one violin song i want to look up
valentijn78 10 sep om 2:58
I'm also having the problem with pawns picking up instruments to play them then running off with them in their inventory. They haven't been drafted or anything. To get an instrument back in designated storage, I have to force the pawn to drop it.
Mlie  [auteur] 8 sep om 22:27
@Balthazad You can change the music file to what ever you feel fits. The sounds is just from the patchmod I included
Balthazad 8 sep om 14:53
ah thx Mlie, but that disables it for all, i'm actually just annoyed by the framedrums playing spacetechno
Mlie  [auteur] 2 sep om 4:55
@76561197978398626 I dont know what that means
76561197978398626 2 sep om 3:52
character stay standing when using freewill
Mlie  [auteur] 28 aug om 4:45
@tanyfilina Mods that existed before the dlc release does not have to be removed. You cannot publish new ones.
tanyfilina 27 aug om 23:11
For me what I see there seems like the variant "it means only the copy of the code" that is prohibited. Not the ideas themselves. For example, there were still Children mods for the 1.5 version of game, although they were introduced with Biotech.

That being said, I don't know of course, if the patch I linked uses the copy of Royalty code, or some original code.
Mlie  [auteur] 27 aug om 14:50
Naturtok 27 aug om 13:23
I would imagine it's in the TOS somewhere
tanyfilina 27 aug om 13:19
Seriously? It's, like, written sommewhere?
Also, I wonder, it means only the copy of the code, or even the conceptual replication?
Mlie  [auteur] 27 aug om 13:17
@tanyfilina Because its not allowed to replicate DLC features and release it as a mod on the workshop without depending on the DLC
tanyfilina 27 aug om 13:12
I just want to remind that there IS a version that doesn't require Royalty, although I didn't tested it in 1.6. I wonder why it wasn't uploaded in the Workshop.
Mlie  [auteur] 27 aug om 12:06
@Balthazad You can turn it off in the mod-options
Balthazad 26 aug om 17:59
is there a way to remove the retarded music? it's extremely contraimmersive to have pawns playing spacetechno on framedrums, just wtf
Naturtok 25 aug om 14:27
oh man i did not expect this, you're the best! Thank you!
Mlie  [auteur] 25 aug om 12:56
@tanyfilina The instruments playing actual sounds does, yea
tanyfilina 25 aug om 12:50
Does it require Royalty?
Mlie  [auteur] 25 aug om 12:18
@Naturtok Sure, should be added now
Naturtok 25 aug om 2:00
kindve a long shot, but any way this patch could get rolled into this? Feels weird with the pawns "playing music" but not making any sound

try switching your download server in steam: Settings -> Downloads -> Downloadregion
Mlie  [auteur] 3 aug om 10:10
@zypherstyle I dont have any control over your Steam downloads. You should probably contact their support about that
zypherstyle 3 aug om 10:06
Mod will not download after subscribing, haven't ran into this issue with any of your other (Continued) mods. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Thiago 22 jul om 6:33
Works for 1.6, at most it throws a harmless error popup
Kriegs 19 jul om 11:37
anybody tested it for 1.6?
lol 10 jun om 4:37
Is there a check for the pawns to drop items? In my current play through they tend to keep instruments in inventory. It's heavily modded though, yet maybe a simple line of code could be enough?
Mlie  [auteur] 31 dec 2024 om 23:30
@Phil McRacken Please see the Reporting Issues section described above
tanyfilina 27 dec 2024 om 12:32
@AstralStardust there is a patch with sound on the third page of comments
Mlie  [auteur] 27 dec 2024 om 12:26
@AstralStardust They do not have sounds
AstralStardust 27 dec 2024 om 10:45
I can't hear them play :<
greensniperhat 19 nov 2024 om 7:26
Ay, thanks a lot!
Mlie  [auteur] 19 nov 2024 om 6:31
@greensniperhat Should be fixe now
greensniperhat 18 nov 2024 om 21:20
Found an error with Westerado on:
XML error: Could not find parent node named "HornMusicalInstrumentBase" for node "ThingDef".
The patch needs to be updated?
AcetheSuperVillain 24 okt 2024 om 10:28
so not an error error, just a mistake. the problem is that crafter pawns with bad art scores end up making the instruments instead of good artist pawns.
The Bard of Hearts 11 okt 2024 om 16:16
Thanks for the response, Mlie.
Mlie  [auteur] 10 okt 2024 om 23:54
@The Bard of Hearts They are functionally the same. They may have different beauty values
The Bard of Hearts 10 okt 2024 om 23:43
Ok. I have a question. Do the different instruments have different "functional" values? They cost wildly different materials and time to make but they never seem to have a functional difference at all. Is that the case? or am I missing something?
Mlie  [auteur] 23 sep 2024 om 11:46
@AcetheSuperVillain And what is the error?
AcetheSuperVillain 23 sep 2024 om 11:44
There is an error, making instruments is a crafting job, even though it uses the artistic skill
Mlie  [auteur] 8 sep 2024 om 21:33
@GeneralTso Seems to work okay when I test it so you may have a mod-conflict
GeneralTso 8 sep 2024 om 18:33
The placed instruments work fine and they seem to be carrying around and using ocarinas and drums just fine but they don't use the actual music spots. Like the little blue squares you put down similar to trading spots
Mlie  [auteur] 8 sep 2024 om 2:48
@GeneralTso What instrument are you referring to?
GeneralTso 8 sep 2024 om 2:03
do i need to do anything to get pawns to play at a music spot? they play in the common room all the time and i setup a stage specifically for them to play on but i haven't ever seen them use the music spot
Enlonwhite 4 jul 2024 om 4:15
@(≡◉‿‿◉≡) I think, dangerous I know, but I think you can separate them in zones/stockpiles by quality right? Just put a zone that only allows low quality and allows those instruments near it, and a short radius job to destroy items of that type (however it works to do that, been a bit since played). Please forgive me If I have forgotten. but I am sure a stockpile/zone management would allow it.

That stockpile will be in range when next to the place to destroy and that job will only hit that stockpile, SO long as you make sure the range/radius on that JOB ticket is small and not in range of other things. Otherwise you risk destroying more then you wanted.

Before I forget, did you try a smelter, smithy or other such place to destroy/Dismantle tools/weapons?
tanyfilina 22 jun 2024 om 2:20
@Pos 5 your patch works wonderful and the sound choice is perfect (but maybe for a frame drum that sounds not enough neolithic for me). Why don't you publish it in the Workshop?
tanyfilina 12 jun 2024 om 0:39
I've had the same bug. Pawn was playing ocarina (in a strange place too - just outside the building where a table was near that wall) and other pawn was listening to that at the table inside a building. Then I saved-exited-loaded, and even on the next day some pawn went to that table to listen that music, although the first pawn wasn't playing it anymore.
The Bard of Hearts 11 jun 2024 om 15:14
I've seen what the previous comment was talking about as well. But another thing I've noticed, is that pawns will go "Listening to music" and getting joy from it, even when there is nobody playing anything. Like a pawn will just stand in front of the marimba and get joy from it when nobody else is there.
xkp92110(orick) 8 jun 2024 om 8:09
I have a similar problem as The_Silver_Nuke .
If pawns play music when i save or autosave.
next time i load save that pawns still play music without note on head.
pawns get stuck when playing until downed or drafted.
sorry,i'm not good at English.
