Will AI be forced to play wide, to get more wonders? I hope so, cause I am tired of 2 or 3 city civs on Gedemons Giant World Map :)
i played marathon speed game, and i saw Maya built The Great Library and Stonehenge in their capital (as you know they are ancient wonders
I love how a single AI cannot hog all the wonders.
However, I love hogging all the wonders too. XD
If you know how to mod Civ V, you could probably change it to affect the modded wonders pretty easily.
How should I get them to you?
Cheers!
In my opinion, the restriction to 1 wonder per city per era really makes the game a lot more interesting especially on the harder levels. The AI has extra units and resources, which is fine, but it can't simply spam wonders.
It means you can be more flexible in your style of play instead of just beelining a specific tech or zerg rushing the AI. The limit on number of wonders also makes you really think about what you want your civ to concentrate on but it is not overly punitive (as I felt the original mod was), allowing you to develop further with each era, which I really like. It also makes wonders relatively rare, which I think they should be.
It's true that the mod doesn't yet cover the BNW wonders, but that didn't become noticeable to me until the late renaissance when so many of them appear.
