I second the suggestion to add support for Enlightenment era and renaissance era revised wonders, which are, as I think, must have mods right now.

Unfortnuately no, and I don't think it's possible as such, but you could make a mod that forces players to only build wonders in their captial (by making the Palace a prerequitie for every wonder) and combine it with this one.

Is there a "One Wonder per Era per Civ" version? That would be great for my hotseat
ИعşŞ 26 Nov, 2016 @ 1:34am
Yeah its ok thx anyway
Anti-Materiel Girl  [author] 25 Nov, 2016 @ 8:14pm
Yeah, I have no idea why that happens. If that's true, then the AI should be able to build multiple power plants in each city as well.

Sorry, can't help you. Whoever made the other mod might have a better idea.
ИعşŞ 24 Nov, 2016 @ 7:41am
Yeah im sure, the most strange is that, only work on me, the AI can build all wonders in the same city
Anti-Materiel Girl  [author] 23 Nov, 2016 @ 10:37pm
Most likely the other mod's changes to the wonders overwrite this mod's changes. If you're willing to try modding it yourself it should be pretty simple to fix. I don't really know why it would only apply to the AI, though; are you sure it isn't specific to those wonders?
ИعşŞ 22 Nov, 2016 @ 7:22am
well, this mod own wonder, and teah, change the effect on the wonders and some ones need source, for example, mausoleum needs nöw a source of stone or marble

There might be a conflict with the other mod. Does Super Power: Clash of Civilizations modify the wonders in any way?
ИعşŞ 21 Nov, 2016 @ 11:00am
Maybe I miss something, but this mods work for me, but doesnt work on IA, I see an IA builds 2 wonder the same era on the same city (Pyramid and Mausoleum)

I use the mod Super Power: Clash of Civilizations

@Mysticake: Awesome mod. For Enlightenment Era mod wonders, please add the lines:

Yes! It's true concept, not like old mod.
axatoramus 20 Jul, 2015 @ 11:12am
Awsome!

Will AI be forced to play wide, to get more wonders? I hope so, cause I am tired of 2 or 3 city civs on Gedemons Giant World Map :)

perors 16 Jul, 2015 @ 5:51pm
It works perfectly :) thx a lot
Anti-Materiel Girl  [author] 13 Jul, 2015 @ 12:28am
Okay, I think I found the problem. Update it and tell me if it's working now.
perors 13 Jul, 2015 @ 12:22am
thanks for the prompt reply
i played marathon speed game, and i saw Maya built The Great Library and Stonehenge in their capital (as you know they are ancient wonders
Anti-Materiel Girl  [author] 12 Jul, 2015 @ 10:20pm
What is the problem?
perors 12 Jul, 2015 @ 9:05pm
it doesn't work

I both love and hate it... ^^

I love how a single AI cannot hog all the wonders.
However, I love hogging all the wonders too. XD
Cronos804 15 Sep, 2014 @ 2:42pm
I love you

Fair enough, thanks!
Anti-Materiel Girl  [author] 28 May, 2014 @ 10:32pm
Most likely because of the modded wonders. This mod only affects the wonders from the base game.

If you know how to mod Civ V, you could probably change it to affect the modded wonders pretty easily.

I seem to have problems with this mod. I haven't installed the One Wonder per City mod, and this one seems to have no effect on my game. Cities can still build multiple wonders from the same era. Is it because I have some modded wonders in my game, or am I having the same issue as Slin?
Slin 20 Apr, 2014 @ 5:26pm
Nice mod! It seems the name of the .xml file in the .modinfo file is misspelled. But it worked fine after I changed that.
dedboy 6 Feb, 2014 @ 9:03am
By the way, Mysticake. I have located the files Civ5ArtDefines_Expansion2_Wonders.xml and Civ5ArtDefines_Inherited_Expansion2_Wonders.xml from my Civ V "Expansion2" folder.
How should I get them to you?
Cheers!

I played several hours last night with this mod and it was great.
In my opinion, the restriction to 1 wonder per city per era really makes the game a lot more interesting especially on the harder levels. The AI has extra units and resources, which is fine, but it can't simply spam wonders.
It means you can be more flexible in your style of play instead of just beelining a specific tech or zerg rushing the AI. The limit on number of wonders also makes you really think about what you want your civ to concentrate on but it is not overly punitive (as I felt the original mod was), allowing you to develop further with each era, which I really like. It also makes wonders relatively rare, which I think they should be.
It's true that the mod doesn't yet cover the BNW wonders, but that didn't become noticeable to me until the late renaissance when so many of them appear.
Anti-Materiel Girl  [author] 5 Feb, 2014 @ 3:45pm
The mod doesn't work with Brave New World yet, but hopefully I'll have it fixed soon. It should still prevent you from building multiple wonders from the base game and other expansions, though.
tookmeforever 5 Feb, 2014 @ 1:21pm
Great idea. Tried it however and it does not seem to be working as I am able to build multiple wonders (any really) from same era in a city. Did you exempt the player perhaps? I don't know about whats happening with the AI cities as I have'nt conquered any to see if its working with them. Still a very nice idea, hope it works soon.
dedboy 5 Feb, 2014 @ 11:23am
Wow! That was quick! Thank you so much for doing this!
