make a version of this but with tf2 gibs

kOiGuh the description has a console command to control how much damage is needed to gib someone just lower the default number.

Could you make it so that normal bullets cause players and npc's to gib like it used to? Maybe it could be a separate mode in the command console? No pressure of course, I just miss when I simply shot my friend with a pistol and saw them explode.

It's awesome, but it's as absurd as the OG HL1 is, so for my classic realism build I am making I am not sure if this is in the state I need it to be. Being able to gib limbs with the rest of the body intact still would be perfect.

I find it too sensitive to normal firearms, anyway we can make it only exclusive to explosives? Would setting the damage threshold high enough for only anti material rifles be high enough? SOf far even a whopping 500 dmg threshold in the console still results in the COD WAW Arisaka rifle for example from World War 2 gibbing peoples entire bodies with a headshot. It's a little absurd.

Don't get me wrong Half Life 1 dismemberment has always kinda been absurd and like this. But a slightly realistic settings update would be nice like scaling it to explosives only or only very high damage weapons or even partial gibbing where a arm gibs off, but the rest of the body ragdolls intact.

help the addon wont go away my dupes with a skulls and spines and other gore along with sounds are stuck on the models for the mod but it wont go away ;-;

Sounds like a you problem. I've never experienced any of the errors you're bringing up. Not to mention lua errors rarely do jackshit other than cause mildly annoying error messages. Needless to say, I still don't see your point.

No, I don't get errors when using his stuff. I still don't see your point. Not to mention 70% of workshop addons for Gmod cause lua errors, so holding that against someone is kind of a stupid thing to do.

Hes quantity over quality, you cannot say that you didnt atleast get 1 lua error when using his stuff

when you download the raw gma file via crowbar or gmpublisher, the real addon most likely will fail to function, indicated by a console error saying it couldnt be mounted

weirdly, when i put it in my addons folder it works fine, but when i am subscribed to it, it dosent work, gmod black magic truelly is a wonder.

I'mma unsubscribe from this addon for right now just because sometimes it gets annoying when I'm doing something. But I did favourite it and I gave it a like so I can go and subscribe again later. :)

I hope you can add a toggle for gibs based on damage types. It would be nice to make it based on exclusively the damage threshold, as explosions and such don't always deal fatal damage.

I found what AmmoType uses this addon, it says DMG_BULLET.
but it gib anyways...how odd

it checks for specific dmage types, it will always gib if the damage is DMG_ALWAYSGIB or DMG_BLAST

Also i noticed that weapon addon Counter-Strike SWEPs always gib enemies, no matter what...
Other weapon works fine, what it could be?
