Even better, that should suffice for the Time being - thanks :)
Overall you may find this to be the best solution as it will work with all developer updates.
I have posted A New World - Bulletproof Edition in the workshop.

Hope you enjoy it.

The developer updated the game recently with some balance changes. These changes will not be seen when this mod is being used, at least for all the cards this mod has changed.
You should be fine to play the game though, just know that you won't be able to enjoy the most current version of game balance.
Unfortunately it is a ton of work for me to get this mod updated to current. I still may do it, but I think I'm going to chill until the development cycle slows down. Raven is a machine at updating this game, I can't keep up. lol. :)
I'll have to double back on this in a bit. I'm not saying it won't happen, but I can't say I'll jump on this right away. If anyone has a list of the cards that were specifically changed, it would help immensely.
Wow, you really gonna do that?
Thanks so much in Advance!
With the new balance update 1.080.2 from Nov 20, it says in the patch notes that many card definitions have been altered. While the New World mod is cosmetic-only and does not change any mechanics, it does use card definitions so it knows to use the modded images.
It is likely this mod is not working correctly with the latest update because of that. I will have to go through all the card definitions in the mod to update them. There are hundreds, so this will take a bit. I hope to get on this soon. Hopefully once I get a groove going I can blast through them.
You should still be able to play the mod in its current form, but you'll miss out on the new updates from the dev, and it may produce weird results as some cards will get updated and some will not. Alternatively, just deactivate the mod for now and wait for an update from me.
People are subscribed to this mod - because they want to hear about updates, not a philosophical discussion about racial profiling in a fantasy universe. Plus, telling people to f*** off doesn't help.
Maybe hit the forums with it. I'm a huge advocate for free speech, but sometimes it needs to be in the right channel.
I deleted the JxM thread if it helps ease this out.
Cheers, and have a good one.
Super cool of you to delete my response to JxM and my elaboration on him saying "lore" and calling the original art horrible instead of just the shit between me and Minos.
Yea, I get it. Just bugs me to see people describe a mod like this as "must have" for a game that rather faithfully adheres to historical depictions of a lot of these mythological concepts that rarely make it into games unadulterated. Hell, this game actually has far less nudity than most classical depictions of Nymphs, Dryads, Naiads, and Skyclad style Witches/Wicca.
Also feels like it encourages the prudish tendencies that we have such problems with here in the U.S. so I suppose that got my hackles up too. Nothing personal though, I just appreciate the original vision of the creator.
And I prefer them in this Way much over the original ones, because they annoy me.
I play the Game for the Gameplay, but still couldn't take long enough the Originals, as they are way too skimpy and 3D looking.
Dryads are already in the game as the Woodland Dryad and Keeper of the Grove enemies... mythologically Nymphs are not the same thing, and look as they do in the game...
"The Unseelie are Asian cultured who look down upon armor, where the Seelie are a splinter group who embrace it in the ways of the samurai. Etc.."
Immediate loss of interest... Seelie and Unseelie are established concepts from Scottish folklore... seems like stuff is being changed from what they are in the original mythology for no reason.
@ZirzoR 4 of the 6 example images have skimpy clothing...
The only small bug I've found is for Allies like Nightingale/Songbird, the Action to switch one into the other did'nt work. Researching the issue I've found a patch note about those kind of Allies that fix a bug that allow their switch Action to only target them. Maybe that bug fix interfere with your mod ?
