Great stuff, just the kind of mod ive been looking for. But i found a problem, one that is very immersion breaking. Some iberian units dont have torsos, could you look into it? Much appreciated.

I was wondering whats up with the Eutruscans getting Eutruscan hoplites in the starting main army and then late game are completely absent aside mercenary hiring. The late game military building are also basically worthless as new units stop being added.

Hi! I was wondering if there's any way to change the imperial legions' shields over to the squared scutum (type 2). Would i be able to use a mod for that without breaking the game?

Awesome Iv been waiting for that to play the mod. I got pretty far the first time before i noticed. excellent mod. I cant stand the faction colors from the vanilla. your units look excellent and I enjoy the slower battles

hi, great work, thaks! But i have problems with textures - all barbarian units have white dress/cloacs and egyption cavelry have white shields, is there any decision? all mods in right positions

They are auxiliary troops, as in vanilla.

I don´t know how it is implemented in DeI, but I´ll take a look. The main issue is that the AI does´t handle well when it has a lot of options to choose, but for the GC units I´ve already improved and expanded some of the options. But I take note also for the future ED update ;)

Adding more Formations like different Testudo etc disciplined stance just like in divide et impera or its can be lot of things numbers of soliders could be as a submod it could be demanding for some guys

No for example empire divided Spear units has no Spear in battlefield such as that

mod is great but most of spear units etc doesnt have spear on their hands in battlefield please overview the units you have retextured and fix

It is compatible with other units size mods, maybe you tried with an outdated one. I tested "Double units size" from "A Huge Turd" and is working fine.

May you guys look into doing a unit size mod? Because the current unit size mods only affect vanilla units so for people like myself who use 2x or 3x unit size mods it unbalances the game. I know you guys got a lot of shit going on but its something that a few other people would like.

As currently I don´t have too much time, I am searching for modders to help me to improve faster the Para Bellum mods collection, through specific tasks focused in these main areas:

- Fixing little bugs and details reported by users.
- Expand the game mechanics.
- Units: improving some of the current ones and adding new historical units.
- Artistic skills (3D, photoshop, gimp, etc.) are also valued in regard of the previous point.
- Scripting.

So if you have some of these skills and want to collaborate in this modding adventure, add me as friend on Steam and we´ll bring back Rome 2 the glory it deserves!

You can download the freeware Pack File Manager program, open the mod with it, and change the units entries/definitions that you don´t want.

Would it be possible to disable the nude greeks? as much as i appreicate the extra cheeks , but they kinda stick out like a sore thumb. Is there anything i can do on my end? other then that still my fav mod series.

@ The Asian: Yes it is intentional as the mod is historically accurate, and you can find this kind of hoplite depictions in many greek sculptures, pottery paintings, etc.

@ Hannibal: thanks, I take note.

@ eduardmacovei365: Then if you are subscribed to both parts of the Units mod, check that you don´t have more than 35 in the Mod Manager because that is the limit, that when exceeded, cause that kind of glitches.

@ [83rd]1in1class: This part only includes a few models and textures more, should not cause that kind of problems. I recommend to try a clean mod installation as you can see there:

I just want to notice you about a little problem for two units :
1. Javelins of Basilikai Thorakitai don't appears
2. Donno Eporedoi (arvern cav) seems to be two in one

@ jaalcoburg: The etruscan faction will be on the line of the etruscan mercenaries that you can find in the Grand Campaign, but as in the rest of the factions of this DLC I´m going to keep the panoply assets that fit historically to the units and to include the hoplon model from Hellenika with a lot of new designs for etruscans, romans, greeks and the italian civilisations that used that kind of shield ; )

@ Warriordude: I don´t know how to include Roaming Barbarian Hordes, and about the Pirates I removed them because for a few users it was conflicting with the slaves faction, though if you like it you can try to use it by subscribing to the original mod.

Excellent work on this mod, and all parts of it :) The game not only looks fantastic but the units look great as well. I know you're planning on improving the ED and ROTR units, and am very interested to see the results!
Actually I was wondering if, for the ROTR Etruscan factions, you were planning on designing them similarly to how they look in the Etruscan Unit Expansion Pack mod? The shield and helmet assets in that mod gave them a very unique and interesting look.

Some roman units didn't have the armor and when you play the battle it looks like they don't have bodies (chests, stomach, the body parts covered by leather). Can you help me with this problem?

@ Muddypaws455: I don´t know who are the many others that get bored in the first 100 turns, is the first notice that I have O_o

I think that the mid campaign is also interesting because is when you can face big empires and also more variety of units.

A tip to improve the research rate, is with buildings like the library or the character skills like the "political reformer", that can speed it up vastly.

In any case you can use the mods that you want to shorten the technology times, that is why I used a modular approach for the mod, to try to maximize the compatibility with other mods, but I think that is up to each one to search and test the ones that fit to their gameplay.

@ Robinhood220: All the mods work on its own, but the Units are is split in two parts because Steam limited the size.

love love lovveee this mod pack but PLEASE make or list any compatible mods that help reduce tech....like many others i get bored by turn 50-100 n start new campaign...takes wayyyyyyyyyy too long to access more troops. tysm for ur hard work

Wonderful mod!
There are several suggestions:
1. Remove trousers from Roman legionnaires (Praetorians and Praetorian Guards); let the shins protect the metal plates.
2. Let there be more Roman legionnaires in chain mail (like thorax swordsmen and principles); reduce the number of plate armor.
3. I noticed that the light infantry battles the heavy infantry for a long time.

@Avemetal Yes the problem started happening while only subbed to the first part, continues to occur with the second part but i tried activating all of the parts in order and that helped :)
