Report a translation problem
1. Go to your main steam folder, then click on steamapps>workshop>content
2. Find your Xcom mod folder, mine is labelled as 268500, your number maybe different
3. Find the '5 in 1' mod, among the....300 folders in your case
(Tip:Unsubscribe then resubscribe to the mod, then sort by date modified :) )
4. Go to config then XComClassData
5. Scroll down to the 'Scavenger' section then stick v v v v v v v v v v v v
+AllowedWeapons=(SlotType=eInvSlot_PrimaryWeapon, WeaponType="shotgun")

...Having my class use a bullpup is from a fluff (lore) perspective, It would not require an outside mod to alter
Hell I can even show you how to alter it yourself, it's literally just a text edit. Whaddya say?

Hmmm, the scavenger is only allowed the Bullpup (Skirmisher weapon), not an assault rifle, so two suggestions I can think of rn:
1. Download a mod that gives you a Bullpup type weapon to use from the start
OR
2. I can help you gives him access to an assault rifle
If that is the full list then it’s gotta be something to do with the mod installation as none of my classes are showing up which is worrying, whenever I load just the collection on its own then the classes appear.
Strange...re-install the mod and see if it works, if not then let me know

Odd....I just tested it and it's fine, it shows up as a soldier class and keeps its class upon leaving the character pool

Hey dude, could you be a little more specific so I can understand what you mean?
Is it the character pool or mid game pool of soldiers you are on about?
Most of them have a random skill 3rd line, however due to them all sharing the vanilla perks of Xcom 2, they would end up feeling too similar to each other trying to fill out a full tech 3rd line so decided against it.
No they do not, again the purpose of the mod is to add few new classes to the soldier load out that feel like they belong in the vanilla game, giving soldiers a lot more variety to be trained into

New to modding so when I learn how, they WILL be updated with a seperate GTS perk for each class

No that is on purpose, the code does have the value set to 1 BUT there is no + on the start of the string, this was to make the class seem like a standard soldier and not kinda stand out in any one field as intended,
If you want to make this personal change then go nuts my friend :)
The perk trees yes, however there is more to my mods than that
