One of the best ways to eliminate the mindnumbing grind, I used it becasue I sold my Xbox and didnt want to try to recover the 100 Smithing I had the hard way. love it!

I downloaded all of the "Perkless" mods and none of them are showing up. Can anyone help?

Additional:

it'd be nice (purely for consistency and aesthetics) if the alchemy mod also turned the skill level number green and skill increases went over 100 or if the smithing and enchanting mods (unsure about others as im not using them) didnt turn the skill level number green with skill increases not going over 100

this is a cool mod, really like it... ive noticed this mod and the enchanting one make the skill level number under the perk tree green (similar to how a stat increase enchantment makes those numbers green) - and skill increases push the skill over 100. This doesnt seem to be the case with the alchemy mod though for some reason, at least not for me so far.
While not an issue i find it odd that the alchemy mod, while doing more or less the same thing (just with a different perk tree), behaves differently to the smithing and enchantment mods.
not being a modder and having limited programming experience i was curious whether the alchemy mod is implemented in a slightly different way to those that turn the skill level number green?

please add this to the xbox one version on bethesda.net mod section please... :)

so I went to the workbench and it wasnt there even when I tried to save and reload, im about to go "tcl" and see if it fell below the world

Thank you i really need this because i messed my game with a mod im level 75 but i have only 6 perks because the other perks got removed because i put them in the mods perk tree

The perks arent working for some reason. I've read the book but when I go to the work bench it won't let me improve the theives guild stuff. Says I don't have the perk. I could improve some other enchanted stuff though so I don't know what's going on. I don't have any mods altering the skill trees or leveling at all. Any ideas?

what is the ID? my game doesn't want to enter " into the console

Nevermind, it had no impact anyway and i thought it had something to do with my rendering issue which i have just fixed. No worries now!

@ [F3AR]Foxy346, your download may have corrupted. Delete the files <Skyrim folder>\Data\PerklessCrafting.esp and <Skyrim folder>\Data\PerklessCrafting.bsa then let the launcher synchronise and redownload the files. If that doesn't work, make sure you don't have any mods installed which might conflict with this one.

Causes skyrim to say "Error loading files from mod"

nvm, it the perks were actually working fine, i thought it was glitched because i tried to enhance iron armor and it went to flawless instead of legendary., but if i enhance anything else it works

@MeltingAbyss254, Do you have any other mods installed which change the skill tree / perks and would conflict with this? Try to disable those then use the book again.

For some reason I'm getting a glitch now. I read the book, and it says the perks are added, but my level is set to 15, even though i have the perks. and the perks won't work for some reason, they are orange, but the words are grayed out.

@[T.C.B] Ragingpanda112, it's possible the mod hasn't been downloaded properly. Take a look at the 'It's not working' section in the FAQ.

@Sky Sweeper, sorry these mods are currently not anywhere else. I'll be posting them on Nexus as soon as I finish the series (2 more to do). You can try using http://steamworkshopdownloader.com/ to download the files manually (not tested it myself though).

Author? are these mods posted anywhere else besides steam? Such as nexus? Cause since the whole "paid mods" incident, subscribed mods won't download for me.

never mind. I saved and reloaded, the book was messed up and possesed by slenderman AND the Kraken but it was there.

I restarted the campaign! Now it works fine :)

@SERV3, No I do not. But when I get inside the stamina replenish! And when I step out side it doesnt. I do got other mods! Maybe they crash into eachother`? Do you know of any mods your doesnt work with?

@André, very strange. This mod doesn't change anything to do with stamina. Do you have any items equipped which could cause that? To check if this mod is the cause, disable it in the data files menu before you press play. It could also be caused by an update in another mod when the launcher synchronised files.

@SERV3 yep that worked fine :)
But rondomly my stamina will not regenerate! So when its 0% I cant get any more! Have to either take potions or walk true doors(loading screen) Any Idea??

@André, sounds like the mod isn't being loaded. That's quite a common problem with the launcher. Try waiting for the launcher to say 'Finished Synchronising Subscribed Mods' before you press play.

@SERV3 I cant find the book, and its not under the workbench either! Tried to save and restart but nothing. Know the problemo?

@men_1970 Very strange. All my mods use setav. That could be due to a glitch in the base game when the setav command miscalculates how much XP to add. It should be fixed in the unofficial skyrim patch.

Some of your mods use setav xx 100 and others use modav xx 100. Is that on purpose? I was surprised to see my smithing go up to 104 at my first lengthy smithing session in Riverwood. Otherwise a very nice mod if you want to try something different.

@Ronan620 No worries. The perks are permanent. If you don't want them anymore you can make the skill legendary or use console commands to remove the perks and reset the skill level.

are the perks and skill levels temporary or permanent?
and how do I remove them if I dont want them anymore?
do I just try to get my Smithing to lvl 200?

@Ronan620 The perks and skill levels are saved to your character. The only thing that will happen if you uninstall the mod is the book will be removed.

What happens after I use this and uninstalled it? Do I still keep the perks?
or do they dissapear and bug my game?

@SERV3 It is working now, the mod data was just going crazy for some reason, so I had to realod the game and it wasn't supposedly "downloaded" but thanks for helping me anyways.

@Templar99 Seems like the mod isn't loading. Make sure it's enabled in the data files window. If it's not listed in that window then it hasn't been downloaded so you should wait for the launcher to say 'Finished synchronising subscribed mods' before you press play. Hope this helps :)

@SERV3 I did type help "the book of smithing" but it just says item code not found, then I type help "the book" and all that I see is all of the other perkless book mods I have downloaded from you.

@Templar99 I can't find the item code for you as it's different for everyone. The first 2 letters change depending on the load order of the mod. Just type help "the book of smithing" in the console (with the quotes) to find the ID.

Just tell me the item code incase it is a glitch please.
