Can anyone please help me make a server? I ve been trying for 2 days to make one for me and my friend and I m not that good at it so I need a bit of help.

This mod is not whitelisted. It does not even use the KF2 Perk system and uses its own custom system internally. So it would not work exactly like KF2 anyway.

Those are precious weapons. They have buffed damage, double mag cap, more spare ammo. But the weapon cost twice as much and have more expensive ammo. The exact numbers are in the change logs.

Sometimes some weapons cost double the base amount and i noticed the magazine to be double the size aswell, are there any other bonuses?

You need to launch the mod once for the configs to auto generate. The configs will be located in C:\Users\<Windows User>\Documents\My Games\KillingFloor2\KFGame\Config for client or <Server Root>\KFGame\Config for servers.

Where were the config files located again? I don't know why the manual setup guide was apparently removed, but I need to change some settings around and don't remember where to locate those ini's.

There, you can access stock information for Classes, Weapon Upgrades. Equipment Upgrades, Grenades, Knives, & Special Waves.

What do you mean unlock all weapon? There is no command for unlocking all weapons in the trader. WMGameInfo_Endless_AllWeapons is not a command, it is a gamemode like WMGameInfo_Endless. You load the game with game=ZedternalReborn.WMGameInfo_Endless_AllWeapons to have all weapons be unlocked in the trader from wave 1. You have to run this when launching a new match, you can not run it in an already running match.

Sorry i mean the mod works 100% fine its just the command to -Unlock All Weapons- does not seem to work. And yes i have been coping the lines and using them. But besides that the mod is awesome:ily:

Command not recognized means the command you put in the console is broken syntax wise, not content wise. Usually this happens if you forget the first command (like open) or there is not a space where there should be one. Even if the mod is not installed, it should attempt to launch the game but just load into a normal survival game, not return "Command not recognized" The Unified Basic Options Example from above should work as expected if you copy and paste it in the console.

You need to launch the game first in a solo game to generate the default configs. Then you can modify the configs that are generated.

Yes you can, you go to the config KFZedternalReborn_Game.ini and set Game_bEnableDamageIndicators to False for all difficulties listed. It will disable the built in damage indicators.

I have never heard or seen that problem. The trader menu GUI is 100% Tripwire code and design, it was probably never designed to handle players with 100+ carry weight worth of weapons at once. Fixing that would be basically be very difficulty depending on which part is causing the problem. If it is the trader code, it might be fixable but if it is the actual GUI design, then that will be very hard to solve.

When I have a lot of weapons, the trader menu starts flickering, to the point where I can't even use it bc most of it is transparent. I set Player_StartingCarryWeight to 249 so that with all the upgrades it would reach the maximum value of 255. But even when the cargo weight is lower, like 150, as I get closer to the max, the menu starts flickering. Anything I can do about it?

It is not configurable, as the counter use to break if you went over 9 grenades (it use to show only the left most digit, like 1 for 10-19, 2 for 20-29, etc.) I recently fixed it a few updates ago, by always displaying 9 if above 10 grenades (cant really change the GUI without some hacks and potentially breaking scaling), so I can probably add it later. There are already some skills that will give you some grenade capacity (Fallback and Door Traps).

Is it possible to drastically increase the grenade limit? Something like 50 would be nice. Could be configurable with one of the ini files. It's still somewhat of a marginal weapon.

You currently can not disable ammo spawns, but you can disable armor spawns on map. All you need to do is set Game_bArmorSpawnOnMap to False in ZedternalReborn_Game.ini, that will stop armor from spawning on maps. I probably need to add an option to control the spawn rate of ammo boxes and weapon spawns later.

Yeah the game does not use the lib in /linux64. It uses the lib in Binaries/Win64/lib64. I forgot to say that the workshop does not immediately download the maps on the server for some reason, but the quickest way to get the workshop to start downloading is to do a map change from in game or from the web console.

Map downloads should be working through the workshop as well. But clients will only download the map that is currently running, not the entire map list at once. You add the maps to the KFEngine config with their steam workshop ids.

It works now "Zedternal Reborn" (The server automatically downloads from workshop and the client automatically downloads from workshop). But now the maps are not downloading... (Maps are added in the same way as the mod).

HTTP redirect does NOT work. The linker that links the data in the upk files and the mod does not work properly for many years and Tripwire never has fixed it because that feature was depreciated. That is why your menu is not loading, the code can not find the menu resources in ZedternalReborn_Menus.upk as the game engine linker can not find it.

On the discord is an installer for epic users that will install the mod into the correct location for KF2 to load it. But as I said, you will need to replace the steamclient.so lib as the workshop is broken without a newer steamclient.so. HTTP redirect for servers are really broken unless it is for maps, it will not work.

It finally did load, but the Cache folder was still empty. I don't think it's downloading from the workshop. I found a GitHub page, can we manually download the files then specify a Redirect URL for users to get the files?

If you are on Linux, copy the file linux64\steamclient.so to Binaries\Win64\lib64. It should fix the workshop, but I think really new versions of the steamclient.so lib from Steam insta-crashes the server. If that happens you will need to get an older steamclient.so lib from steam using the steamcmd tool. Or you can wait for the summer update which fixes all these annoying problems.

The discord link works, I just clicked it. If it does not work for you, you can copy it into your browser. The problem is steam workshop is still broken on the server and will not download the mods without replacing the steamclient.so file in Binaries/Win64/lib64/. Tripwire has finally fixed (took them 1+ year) it in the beta and the full summer update should be released in a week or two.

I saw the one thread about launching the server one time with no options, I tried that and the logs show the server is stuck and the cache folder is empty:

I need some assistance. I'm running a Linux container running several servers. I use specific configuration directories. I modified the "LinuxServer-KFEngine.ini" file as specified (I tried dropping the lines at the beginning and end of the file, neither worked), and launched the game with "KF-DieSector?game=ZedternalReborn.WMGameInfo_Endless?difficulty=2?players=12" and the game launches as a standard 6 player, suicidal, long game with no modification.

Any help is appreciated.

@The.Dark.Fader me and my friends tested a lot of Mod Weapons pack (including Reinforcement Pack), and i made a list of mod weapons for ZedTernal Reborn long time ago (i think 2020), this list is indicating which weapons are working and which are not, the problem is that it is in my language (in Portuguese) if you want I can see if I can find it and send it here.
