Guys I'm gonna repeat what was said back in the ancient days just a few comments below, there will be no 1.4. There will be no 1.5 6 7 8 9 10

This mod is ABANDONED. The core ships mod this needs to work is abandoned and no longer supported. If boats were to ever return it will be part of a new boats/ships or vehicles framework, which I'm not responsible for. Please go ask the guys who made the core mod this one needs, cause I just made a branch off their tree

@ghostly12 - what game version are you on? Boats mod core and this mod is outdated and is staying at 1.1. The core mod is no longer supported by the authors in favour of a vehicles mod.

Hello all. The boats core mod has been abandoned, this is due to a vehicles mod that SmashPhil and the gang are working on. It’ll have boats and vehicles so that is their reason for closing down the boats mod.

Thanks for understanding, the mod will return later.

If not, the boat will not leave.

oke so i loaded evryone to the boat and set a course to sail, yet the boat wont leave and i cant force it to go, it says preparing to leave, can i fix this? thanks!

@Lisa Chan - Hey there, thank you for the suggestion but I won't be adding new ships/boats until Phil finishes his boats mod update, lots of new features and chemfuel system. I'm interested to see if we can have proper weapon systems other than the ol' fashioned cannons since I feel I don't want more midworld tech boats that behave that way

Hm. There's no way the horses should have been faster, unless it has something to do with the tiles. But yeah, that's just a peculiar quirk. Impossible for me to test more scientifically.

Good idea on the bump though. Time to hit the river!

@Miradus - I looked at the code, the assault boat is already faster than the horse

Horse: 5.8
Assault Boat: 10

I'm thinking maybe the water affects the craft's speed (which seems silly but it makes sense). I'll bump it up a bit. It's live in the new update

Do you have the boat speeds handy? Could that be added to the description? They feel a bit slow. I tested travel via assault boat to a location up river versus travel by horses and the horses were faster. The only advantage boats seemed to have in that situation was the river route.

@Perry - No. The motors based vehicle mod is unstable and isn't currently compatible with caravans. Animals however, I'm not sure I haven't tested them yet, but I know from playthroughs I can form caravans with the boats and take supplies, I actually forgot if I've taken animals with me before but since it's Phil who coded it I'm assuming you can take animals no problem

Alright, I have a logistics question.

My boat lets me travel fast and far on rivers or ocean. BUT ... the mission or trade post is inland a few tiles away from the nearest water site.

What's the method? Are you getting there and splitting the caravan and walking it?

@drsavage1001 - This mod actually needs that as a dependancy, so yes it will be as long. This mod in itself has no C#, it's all in that framework so it shouldn't cause a significant delay

MRAV 660 is fixed, no more infinite errors. Phew, sorry I didn't expect it to give me issues but now it's gone. Cheers all
