@Nexusknight, be aware that auto targeting turrets ignore the increased projectile speed in their aiming calculation. Make sure that you are not mistaking shots that dont hit the target with shots that hit but deal no damage.

Strange enough, using his version of the mod does the same thing. No idea why lol. i may try a fresh install and see if that works, but i kinda don't wanna lose all the edits I've made to various files xD

Hope i did that right, never used pastebin before, made a fresh game this morning.

I wouldn't worry about it too much unless it could prove useful info that would help your other mods. I did dig into the files and figured out how to edit range and speed values and there is the update made by Sathaerz that i could use as well.

Just tested again with only this mod activated, same problem is still there. Perhaps it is just my specific game files? I too have used this quite alot in the past with no issues so no idea why they would crop up now.

I too agree, you Rinart are very talented. Everything you release is top notch. I look forward to seeing future releases from you.

A this point I want to thank rinart again for making this amazing mod for me. I just love to use it!
As rinart does not have the time/motivation to update this mod himself he gave permission to Sathaerz to update it.

Sathaerz update includes adjusted prices for some turrets that were to expensive at the beginning in addition to fixing a bug related to the turnrate of salvaging and mining lasers. here is the direct link

just now tested it on my existing creative galaxy and version 1.1.4 it works fine.
cannons and pulse cannons were used for the test

The turrets simply dont damage the target, they hit just fine but no damage ticks. I do appreciate your time and if you dont feel like doing it, no big deal.

Came across a bug with this mod for 1.1.2 for when you have more time available to get back into modding. With just this mod active, all mining turrets the game generates have a unusually high efficiency of 25-40%. Can not mine with the turrets either. This affects salvaging turrets as well. Buying price is very high as well, but that could be attributed to the high efficiency. Same problem with a new game started. Anyhow, hope you're doing well. Stay safe.

I was using it in single player and I noticed that regular (not r-) mining and salvaging turrets have such a high turn rate (29.5) that they bug out and spin in place, unable to shoot. I suggest removing these 2 types of turrets from the section where you modify turning speed.
Otherwise, very nice mod!

After doing some more testing. I'm finding that its more of a visual glitch than anything. The targeting circle goes green within vanilla ranges, any further and it turns blue again as though out of range. I can hit Ai's further than that just fine now, as earlier i failed to notice i had 93-94% accuracy guns.:steamfacepalm:

Mod is working mostly as intended, projectiles speed and range are working just fine, but a problem i noticed is locking on to targets only does vanilla range, any further, turret just spray and are inaccurate. any help is appreciated

This mod should actually be appreciated a lot more. Projectile weapons are good now and turret rotation speed helps the ai with better aiming. If the devs would have done such changes girls would show boobs to them.
