Greetings all,

I've gone ahead and added support for Animal Collection in the Star Wars - A RimWorld Series - Factions mod in 1.3. When this mod is updated to 1.4, assuming no major changes to internal def names, it will also be supported in 1.4.

I'm not quite sure where the complaints regarding armor piercing are coming from since no animals, in the base game at least, have innate armor piercing in their attacks. I would say my main gripe with this mod is the armor defense of both certain animals and their leather. Besides the Acklay, None of the animals I've seen from this mod have any armor rating and the defensive stats that their leather provides seem weird. A Rancor's Hide protecting just as much as a Bantha's hide just feels weird...

I just spent a few hours converting the original Rancor mod to 1.3 and improving it only to find out this existed and it's so much better than what I came up with. :v

It seems this mod is not compatible with Colony Manager. It throws an "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" error when trying to "GetAnimalKindTooltip (Verse.PawnKindDef kind)" when trying to populate its list of animals found in a biome.

the animals have no armor-pen and thus are useless in a fight (no damage).

ALSO, the knucklehead def from the dinosauria animals used for (the reek? unsure) doesn't gel with any of the wild reproduction or children mods, throws a yellow error. There's a fix suggested on the arachnid mod revived by mlie to do with part coverage, easy fix, didn't check to see if the local copy I'd edited worked though so can't confirm.

Any way to make it so the mounted rancors pawn offset isn't weird? i.e. with giddy up the pawn when riding a rancor renders in the middle of the rancor (within their legs) instead of above it, looks super weird. Purely cosmetic, but I noticed even modded animals it auto calculated the offset, just not with the rancor...

Hi, I'm getting a conflict with this mod and colony manager. Whenever this mod is installed the hunting tab of the colony management tool gets messed up (this animal list disappears). Can this be patched?

Regarding the conflict with Dinosauria, I have the same issue with parts not generating for one or the other depending on which one is loaded first. I'm not certain either but I thought I remember fixing it once but for the life of me, I can't remember what I did. I always assumed it was something by a dog said or a patch but I guess it wasn't? Either way, love the mod man.

Where is the frogdog and ronto? I opened dev mode and "spawn pawn" everyone was there except the 2 mentioned. I also checked the textures folder in the mod and they're not there. Is it a balancing thing?

Hi Froku, First, thanks for the reply! Sorry, I thought it was something you knew about already. I just stripped out all my mods to give you a clean log so hopefully this info helps. I also learned to pull mods from the bottom up when cleaning out the list, top down freaks everything out :D
