Hm, without this mod missiles are far too strong with your battle mod, but with this mod javelin units are borderline useless. They barely outdamage bows, have far less AP than before (While javelins previously had high AP (1/3rd or 1/4th) ensuring they did good damage they now have the same AP as bows and less than slings. Coupled with low range, low ammunition and suddenly they're no longer the armor killers they are. I tested british javelins (admittedly the worst javelins in the game) against pikemen, thrown from both the front and behind. I managed to kill 15 pikemen before my skirmishers ran out. In vanilla those same javelins thrown from behind would kill 15+ per volley

I'd suggest upping javelin AP again while keeping total damage the same. That should ensure they still have a role.
